just call me preggers because I am late to the game...

Not a fan of 2 different caps... with 2 different caps, it becomes all luck to who you are partnered with... Because really this is not a partner draft at all... Who here is not going to say, you are in charge of one half and I am in charge of the other??? Which then means it is Really Luck of the draw to who you are teamed up with since the partners team does not affect your team at all...

and you know what happens when we go random, there will always be a team with 2 of the better teams... and that one would win...

one of these 3 options(using the original so we don't go all milktime...

1. one owner of partnership goes all offense, the other goes all defense... so the owner who drafts offense will at the end have 24 offensive players, and same for the person who drafts defense...

2. we don't do a partner at all

3. use ONE salary for the WHOLE team

Well you will still have one salary for your team -$140 to draft your 26 players. Secondly, it isn't really drawing luck bc we will know our partners beforehand. So you can still work together to build the team even though each of the players will be drafting for one half...

not really, the 2 teams that make one have NO Influence on eachother... there is no need for partnership... and I can guarantee most owners will not use there partnership in this...

Then why dont we just do a $280 cap and the team drafts 52 players

or

Everyone just drafts their 26 man roster with the $140 cap.

How about on option 1, instead of one guy drafting just offense and one just defense, we each draft a 26 man team for $140, combine and cut to 40, and one partner is the defensive coordinator and set's the starters and scheme for the defense, the other partner is the OC and sets the starters and subs for the offense. For the playoffs, instead of having a $280 cap when we cut to 40 men, we make the playoff cap $180, and the OC and DC have to decide as a team how much money is used for offense and how much for defense

Example, Milk and I are partners, he is OC and I am DC. When our roster hits the field, I might only get $80 for my D, he might get $100 for his O. It's up to us

I actually really like this idea. Maybe keep the final cap at $190 or $200 though...

I am out of time. My wife started college so I have more to do around the house. That with a heavy work load I don't have time to put into the draft for a bit.

Housework? Come on man you can fake it!

I thought about $200, that would be $5 a guy. Sounds good. We have been seconded...anyone wanna third it so we can get started?

Id be up for this if all players need to play at least a quarter... not a fan of a 9 player bench on both sides if there isn't expectation for them to play much... Is just an excuse to use more money elsewhere, with no penalty...

I agree. Bench players need to play a certain amount of time.

Actually, the bench will play much more than a quarter, that's the point. Now you can list your base set, say QB, RB, 2TE 2WR...but now, guys can see your FB for short yardage, your 3, 4 and 5 WR sets, 3rd down back, wildcat, etc

My point, was just that we all have that understanding...

If it becomes 8 I think we shouldn't use teams, that makes 4 teams

I say we go all out. Each player will make their own 40 man roster. You will list your sub-packages and every player will play, no bench. Cap is $200
