Once the draft is complete, partners will decide on their STARTING 11 on offense and defense for each half. Partners will also decide on SEVEN players for bench/different packages, these same seven will be used for both halves.

The way the players required are listed is what you must do meaning... You can't draft Jack Youngblood and play him at RDE because he never played there, it doesn't matter that he could have he didnt! However bench players can be either left or right as long as they played the position they are backing up.

You cannot use players who start in a half as backups in the other half.

When voting you will look at Bench/Different package players as they will play quite a bit.

You also will be required to give a 1st and 2nd half score and a very brief explanation.

I originally put 1995 but this is a lot players we are drafting. An extra 120 but if we do 1995 it just wont be as loaded. I'm good with whatever

I thought you wanted a bigger pool. It might be a slight bigger pool but with less talent and football was a different game before the 1950's. That could cause some problems IMO

I would go to 2005 and since I rarely offer an opinion on the rules of these things we should go with that :suds:

I don't mind 2005, since you guys don't like the oldies suggestion that started this ball rolling. I feel like it includes the current guys with most of their resumes built already and still excludes guys in their 3rd or 4th year who get put up with some of the all time greats by people way too soon.

My pre 1980 comment was tongue in cheek. That was the original time frame Nos threw out before you guys edited it all out.
