:stephena:

Portland wins tonight they're the 4th seed in the West.

West is tough. They'd be coasting in the LEast

So how does that change that OKC was 2 games from not even making the playoffs? They have a talented advantage over every team in the West outside of Golden St. Whether you want to admit it or not, OKC underachieved this season compared to what they did last year. That's the reason Russ isn't mentioned in the MVP conversation. You guys wanted to know why, I told you why.

Awesome accomplishment.

Westbrook is such a fascinating player. I admire his immense talent yet at the same time I watch him and think his style of play doesn't help as much as it should. Its like all the tools are there, you see them on display as he makes a killer play to keep you in the game and then he follows it up with a killer play that costs you the game. I've never seen anyone like him.

I've said this over and over. Extremely disappointing season. You give a good coach this team and they are pushing GS and Houston.

Good point. Westbrook made history tonight and he deserves all of the credit.
His team deserves a lot of the credit. The videos are easy to find...

I think Melo's over the hill, but yes, you're correct. Russ is a top 5/10 player and George fits with Russ' game perfectly. Plus, Steven Adams is one of the best big men in the league. I'm glad you're realistic and not taking it as hating.

Yeah Westbrook's team deserves a lot of credit, so what? Every NBA player has teammates. :noidea:

Technicality. It was the OKC ownership group and GM.
Good point, but the team was still the Sonics when they drafted Kevin durant in 2007 and Westbrook in 2008.

"The team moved to Oklahoma City and announced it would begin play in the 2008–09 season".

Watching them run from rebounds so Westbrook could get them was a thing of beauty.

Yeah I'm sure that his teammates helped him out last night. It happens to all of the great players.

I also think you're just one player away from that level too. I think if you swapped Covington for Melo, you guys would be right up there (along with a healthy Roberson). Need a couple better fits which I think could be addressed in the off-season.

I'm ok with Melo. But our bench is a little weak. I'm not saying a good coach would make us better than the other two but he would make it closer.

Westbrook has 12 rebounds. Looks like OKC is running from rebounds again so Westbrook can pad stats.

Man that one example sure proves a rule for the mentally deficient.

It's pretty close to his season average. Need a bigger sample size?
