Now now...let's all try to get along and love each other m'kay?

I'm not a huge fan of 12, but I prefer it to 4. I'd go two separate playoffs of 8.

12 is too many, that would have allowed my Gophers in the tourney in 2019 depending on when they picked the top 12, and PSU and Wisconsin, too. 4 B1G teams would have been too many and none of those 3 B1G teams deserved to be in a playoff. 8 teams would be plenty. Conf title games would in a sense be like a first round eliminating most of the teams that would have snuck into a 12 team playoff. jmho

Actually, Minnesota would not be in...and 2 of Wisconsin's 3 losses were to Ohio St. I get it. 3 losses looks kinda bad, but perhaps it's an exception and not the rule for at-larges. This is how it'd look in 2019...I flip flopped Penn St/Utah so Oregon wouldn't be playing Utah again. I'm not a fan of a team like Memphis in this field. Yeah, they could pull the upset and all that, but I'm all for them having their own playoff.

(8)Wisconsin (10-3) v (9)Florida (10-2)--winner v (1)LSU (13-0)
(5)Georgia (11-2) v (12)Memphis (12-1)--winner v (4)Oklahoma (12-1)
(7)Baylor (11-2) v (10)Utah (11-2)--winner v (2)Ohio St (13-0)
(6)Oregon (11-2)
v (11)Penn St (10-2)--winner v (3)Clemson (13-0)
Conference Champion

Conference breakdown:
Big Ten--3
SEC--3
Big XII--2
Pac-12--2
AAC--1
ACC--1

Maybe you missed the part where I said, "depending on when they picked the Top 12, because I was thinking of the Final AP polls when I wrote that. So I am assuming you took those rankings from before the bowl games? How are Bama and Auburn not in? Oh yeah, you are going by the cfp poll I suppose? Well my point is still the same, whether it was Auburn or PSU or Utah or Bama(that year) or Wisconsin, none of them have/had any business that year playing in any playoff. It would be bad enough if Oregon or Memphis got in that year, which they would have with an 8 team tourney.

I'm not a conference fan, I can care less about banners from other teams accomplishments. And we are not in the SEC yet.
Your teams literally say, ou, big 12, ou. Shouldnt it just be ou 3 times if you aren't a conference guy?

When do you think they'd pick the 12...? I did it the way they do it. Once the regular season and conference championships are played (you know, early December) then it's a good idea to use the CFP rankings because...well, it just makes sense to do it at that time of the season, but if you want to look at the AP poll in November (?)...then you do you. Well done. ;) Am I being sarcastic? Please forgive me. I've been studying the Coaches Poll. Oops, I'm sorry. I feel like Britney Spears...I did it again.

Sure, yea, me having a Big12 little icon on my profile definitely makes me a conference guy all the way. CLOWN

This is great. Will only lead to more good meaningful football games. I don't know how anyone could be against it.
