Constructive criticism: Cam played a great game, to be sure. But he still sailed some of those underneath routes. Watching Brady nail those with absolute precision makes me think that if CN could get throws like that down, where they're automatic, he'd be truly elite.

Cam is still a work in progress. Look at where he was as a rookie to what he is now. He utilizes the pocket more and runs when necessary to evade the rush. Sure he gets sacked from time to time. But he's able to hold the ball longer and give routes a chance to develop with his size and strength. If he ever gets the precision touch of a Tom Brady like arm, look out NFL.

Cam is the weakest link in the Chain for the Panthers. Far too many times you see him avoid having to pay the price for mistakes he makes in game. As always ..things get real tight towards the end of the regular season ...and that's when this bill comes due.

Yes, ignore that Gronk was shoved off the play blatantly and drew a flag.
It was a zebra win folks.

even the best can mess up plus it was intercepted so maybe he wouldnt have gotten it anyway wrapped up or not

If you look at the beginning of that gif, he even has position on the dude that intercepted until he's pushd off the play.

I'm not saying this to even suggest that he would have caught the ball, just that it was clearly pass interference that drew a flag from the official who as in front of the action and that the ball was farm from uncatchable.

Maybe they should make a new rule about this specific play like they did when Brady fumbled against the Raiders and the Officials miraculously said it was an incomplete. Then they came up with the "Tuck Rule".

Not only was the Tuck Rule bullshit, the miracle play that beat the Saints wouldn't have happened without an egregious hold that allowed it BUT the difference was that it was a no call. If the interference on Gronk wasn't called, that would be one thing. It's the picking up of the flag that makes the misscall so blatant.

Edisto, he probably would not have made the catch but that's not what makes a ball "uncatchable." Many throws where interference is called would not result in a catch. Uncatchable is reserved for throws that sail up and over the players....like no chance whatsoever. Not tough plays like this one would have been. Sabol films highlights are full of catches that, ten feet out, appeared to be impossible to catch.

i really dont believe he would have made that catch. but in any event, it was a great game and had us all on the edge of our seats. one of the best MNF game i had seen in awhile.

plus, carolina is a small market team so 99.9% of the time the are the ones getting the SHAFT, so getting a call or a no call in our favor just doesnt happen very much.

Yeah. We Panther fans agree. He has a decent arm but can't run a lick. The 3 TDs he threw Monday were luck.
