How the fuck did the Pirates allow the O's to come back last night? I thought we would have been able to get the game back that we dropped to them on Tuesday

no, i said his arm would be a problem. it clearly has been.

He finished 2nd or 3rd in Cy Young voting last season doctor

His velocity hasnt dipped one bit

So obviously not arm problems

Is it? His splitter usage is down to 20%. Lowest in his MLB career by at least 4 ticks. Down 10.2 points from the 30.2 from last year.

He had surgery in 2015 dirt, a "secret" bone spur. he STILL has a partially torn ligament in his pitching elbow. those dont just go away.
he doesnt use his splitter anymore.

All ive heard that every single time a pitcher is dealing with an arm injury, the very first sign is velocity dip......The reason he hasnt been put through an MRI is because there hasnt been

Yeah, that may generally be true. But it's also common knowledge that his ace in the hole, the splitter, is less than kind on the elbow. He may be avoiding surgery but at some point this was going to be the boogeyman that actually does come out from under the bed, imo. Not the kind of pitcher this schtick is going to work well for.

The face Judge makes when he is at the plate?

No, that's my face when people are trying to predict (pray for) the demise of other teams players.

To me it looks like he is yawning at the plate.. Like, "come on.... Do you honestly think you'll get me out?"

Well, if its a Yankee then of course people pray for their demise...

I was listening to the Michael Kay Show on Monday and they did mention that his splitter is not dropping as much as it did in previous years.

Wouldnt you be?

The Yankees are a rebuilding transitional team, 1/4 into the season, 3 games ahead of a Red Sox team that buys a new team every winter

Not really, I want all players (including guys like Betts and Bedneddetendii) to reach their potential, it will make all the sweeter when we whip off another dynasty at their expense.

100% absolutely correct. they told him to throw it as little as possible because it would blow his already torn arm out fully.

This is their last season with a legit shot

Thier farm system stinks, at some point I have to think they will need to slow down the spending, and some core players are showing their age

he was one of the best pitchers in baseball in 2016

He has a CGSO in Fenway this season

And struck out 13 A's 2 weeks ago

Dont get me wrong, he has sucked, but he has shown enough to give hope that maybe this is just a phase he is going through
