I'm all for protecting finishers and as trend I don't like to see it used as a crutch for TV matches or to make a mid card match slightly better. But when Cena losses a feud to a heel clean I can't imagine telling that story any other way.
I want to watch that match again to see if it was as good as it seemed to be at the time. Based on watching it once last night I can't think of a better Summerslam match in any year

IMO the move of the PPV is when Charlotte had Sasha in a Razor's Edge and it turned into a Sasha move. I just wish she won "controversially."

I wish Ambrose/Ziggler was a ladder match or something.

Ya the "fine" by Steph was really just a shot at Shane, saying there would be repercussions for what he did to her brother but she still enjoyed it and that's why his fine is so low.

I am curious as to why they didn't just acknowledge Eva Marie's suspension instead of opting for that lame ass over-stressed and in need of a vacation line?

It's not like the internet didn't already know what had happened.

And they damn sure didn't shy away from broadcasting Roman Reigns' suspension. Shit, Seth Rollins cut promo after promo on Reigns after his suspension.

I don't get it.

Because it fits well into her character. They obviously have a good thing going right now so they used that line to play into it. For anyone that doesn't know the real reason she's gone, that's a good excuse. For anyone that does know, its a nice little wink and nod.

Plus, Reigns was far more high profile not just because he's a bigger star, but because he was in a title match and thus had to explain why he'd be absent in the build towards it. Instead of coming up with some bogus injury, some times its better to just go with the truth and play into it. Other times, like with Eva, its better to do something else

Completely disagree that Roman is a bigger star. Maybe in terms of in ring but not on social media or national IMO. I'm guessing 99% of people who know who she is knew she was suspended. Be that guys who look on line at general WWE stuff and saw the news or all of her female fans that follow her on all the social networks.

It doesn't really make sense for this angle, unless it is an actual angle not reality.

Hart sounds like he knows what he's talking about till he gets to the part about Kidd and Joe and totally undercuts himself. The Muscle Buster is not a dangerous move and Joe has done it for years and years with no one getting hurt. Tyson Kidd got hurt on a freak accident

Was the Lesnar/Orton ending scripted or did Lesnar actually hurt Orton and they fight was stopped? I've read a lot both ways. And did Lesnar and Jericho have an altercation in the back after the match?

Yes it was scripted. Lesnar and Jericho had an altercation because Jericho didn't know the finish was a work and thought Brock actually hurt Orton. He confronted Brock as he came thru the curtain and Brock was Brock which didn't help the situation any.
