College Football's 10 Easiest Schedules In 2018

1. SKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DUCKS! BGSU, SDSU and Portland State. Murderer's row fer sure.
2. Arizona - perfect for breaking in a new old coach
3. BYU - kinda weak, since not all games are confirmed yet
4. Clempson - Let's go Furman!
5. Va Tech - They DO have to play Both William and Mary on the same day, tho
6. Virginia - Richmond and Liberty
7. Colorado - at Nebraska

8. Georgia - Let's go Peay! Plus, the Tennessee Waltz - Tennessee, Vandy and Middle Tennessee
9. Wake Forest - who really cares?
10. Alabama - who's tougher? Arky or Arky State? Don't really buy this one either, but the Citadel?

If you look at the P5 teams that have scheduled the fewest OOC games vs other
P5 teams, there are only two on that list.

Going into newt year...

Miss St and Ariz have not played a reg season game vs a team from the other P5 leagues in the
first four years of the Playoff era.

Two schools have only played 1 in those 4 years. Baylor and Colorado

Five other schools have only played 2 games in 4 years. Kansas, Vandy, Ole Miss, Penn St and Wash St.

Next year...The 5th season of the Playoff Era...7 of those teams will play at P5 OOC game.
Miss St will play their first. Colorado their second. Baylor their second. Kansas will play their
3rd. As will Penn St, Vandy and Ole Miss.

Ariz will be at 5 years and counting of not playing an OOC P5 team. Wash St will not play one.

That's pretty pathetic scheduling on Arizona's part.

no saying why their schedule is as weak as it is. take out either Portland State or San Jose State and replace with Texas A&M and they arent #1

Regardless, like they say, "if, if's and butts were candy and nuts we'd all be gay diabetics!" That OOC schedule is BRUTAL.

It's definitely uncommon for Oregon to have a weak OOC schedule, as they usually play at least one pretty tough team as far as I can remember. It looks like 2019 puts you in the "Jerry Bowl" against Auburn! :suds:

exactly thats what Im saying by the time A&M backed out Oregon was left with minimal options.

Yeah when Texas A&M backed out of playing USC we got stuck with playing Idaho and Arkansas State the same season. I feel your pain.

for now. 2019 is Eastern Washington, Hawaii and BYU. BYU so 50/50 chance on if they will be decent or not.

Dropping out of the MWC really seemed to hurt BYU more than I thought it would. Really they are just at the level of a good Group of five team now.

that and losing Bronco mendenhall.
Mendenhall 11 seasons worsts 6-6 in year 1 and 7-6 in their last MWC year 2010.
Sitaki year 2 4-9 with a schedule that should have been about a 7 win season. I mean they lost to UMASS.

I'm hoping the Lane Train keeps going at FAU in 2019. Otherwise, OSU's 2019 OOC is also pathetic with FAU, Cincinnati, and Miami(OH).

its not good but its not that bad. at least some people give some credit to Cinci. and none are FCS.
