If anything Laughlin should've went he's brutal. Maybe sherry was too critical of the team. Something I loved about her.

What type of work can she do now? There a demand for radio color? Also what's a job like that pay

It was not a cordial breakup. Team not offering any details and Sherry taking shots at management. Said she wishes coaches and players well, thanked Lou, also said all her Devils stuff is going on ebay. She is not a happy camper, she flat out got canned.

He's the beat writer for a pro sports team, he should have his finger on the pulse of the team, be the guy every other writer looks to for breaking Devils news. Instead he's always 45 minutes behind every other writer when news breaks. Everyone on this board could do a better job than that guy.

Expansion draft preview: Metro Division | The Hockey News

I'd have to see the list of who is eligible and who is not because I'm still not entirely certain but I can't imagine we have 11 guys worth protecting. Protect 8 and dangle a guy like Cammalleri out there. Protect Bennett? Seriously?

Sami Vatanen having major shoulder surgery, 5+ month recovery. Would we still want to trade for him? You would hope this brings his price way down.

Prout is the obvious choice if they need to expose a d. Him and say Stollery. Although anything that gets Merrill off the ice and out of our lineup is ok with me

lol i dunno whats up with this guy or even russians in general. i really doubt this new twist is legit. it can't it would look horrible for the nhl to fall victim to this negotiating tactic.

i really dont get the love for the olympics. go back to the days of junior players non professionals being in it. you get x amount of time to win it then when you go pro you have to win the stanley cup the thing that matters most. no one cares who wins a tournament every 4 years. esp one in korea thats 11 hours time difference and no one will watch the games anyway.

also bravo for him if he does this (sarcasm) he will be the only nhl talent playing in the olympics since the nhl isn't going. so say russia does win gold isn't that going to have a massive * next to it?

So I'll reiterate, my hope for this off season is to sign one of the Washington defenseman (Alzner would be my first choice but I wouldn't lose sleep over Shattenkirk) and trade for one of the Ducks guys (I'm assuming Vatanen will be the one available). Instant upgrade to the top 4, would bump Greene down to 2nd pair which is where he'd excel at this point. Then let Severson, Santini, Merrill and Moore battle it out.

I would hope for a full youth movement up front with Quenneville, McLeod, Bastian and number 1 pick so I wouldn't invest too many assets on offense.

The Kovy thing would just be a bonus, either he joins the lineup or we deal him, it would be a nice freebee. If not then oh well, back to Fuck Kovy.

that sounds about right to me. probably just a 8th seed team at best case scenario but the experience of the kids getting a full year will be nice. zacha has to start pushing though for that 2c spot would be nice to see 40-45pts out of him this year
