Considering the current roster, I'd rather see this lineup trotted out, at least for a few days:

Posey - c
Arroyo - 3b
Morse - lf
Ruggiano - cf
Tomlinson - ss
pitcher

Tomlinson's bat cannot be any worse than Gillaspie's and Arroyo needs to be playing 3rd more often to get ready for Crawford's return. Let's see what Ruggiano can do for a week or so. Can it be worse than Hernandez? Morse over Nunez. At least Morse could possibly hit it out of the park. He also needs a good look to see what the team has.

I would prefer Morse batting 8th. You don't want an obp guy hitting 8. That is a waste. You want a base-clearer hitting there.

Good point. Either way, I don't understand the Giants letting Ruggiano and Morse just sit on the bench for days on end when they need to make some decisions on them while Nunez and Gillaspie stink it up.

I think they see Nunez as either a trade chip or a part of the future, so they are working with him. I am OK with that strategy.

I think I've let the past two games cloud my understanding of Nunez' production. Its not great, but he is slashing .280/.321/.440 for the month of May so far.

Regarding Morse and Ruggiano, if they aren't going to hit, I'd rather find out now and clear room for guys like Slater and Williamson.
