I'd like either him or Tyler Rogers. There is a spot on the 40 man open right now, correct? Or does someone need to be moved to the 60 (such as Bumgarner or Chase Johnson)?

If they move Johnson over to the 60, they gotta pay him MLB money. I doubt that will happen unless they REALLY want to add someone.

That said, Bum can still be moved, so in essence, they do have a 40-spot available. But would you rather Rogers over Alvarado?

Yes I would rather Rogers over Alvarado. I want to see how Alvarado handles AAA before making the jump to the bigs (would have much rather seen Alvarado go to Sacramento than Dusten Knight).

Yea. I didn't realize Rogers was having such a great season in Sacto. I agree 100%. Rogers should get the call before Alvarado.

But Mac went yard again tonight, and he was penciled in to be #2 in line for the starting LF job at the start of the season. If the Giants decide to activate both Craw and Mac, that actually means someone will need to go out.

I'd say your scenario is most likely. Two days ago, however, I would have argued that they would bring up another pitcher.
