GIDP plz
I was going to say get Nap out of cleanup also. But we have five batters in the lineup getting under .200. Have to put them somewhere in the lineup.God. Get Gomez out of lead off.
A pint? Better make that a gallon. May be you haven't noticed but Odor Gomez Rua and Napoli are in the same boat.Is Joey Gallo experiment No. 125 version 74 modification 12 coming to an end yet? I like the guy and he's very consistent with a .177 career batting average and he's currently batting .178 but would somebody send him a pint of wood putty to fix the hole in his bat.

I am not sure about this case, but I think the "change of scenery" argument is way overplayed. For example if Elvis had been traded a couple of years ago the change of scenery argument would have been used when in reality it was simply a case of the manager misusing him. Again, I am not saying this happened to Moreland, but in a lot of cases it is simply that the previous team didn't know what they were doing with a particular player.I think he just needed a change of scenery in order to " put it all together". It seemed like for 3 or 4 years in a row the same exact thing would play out: he would always get injured, miss a lot of games, and generally be inconsistent whenever he did play. The front office would always justify his potential and cheap value as a reason to bring him back, but he had a ton of chances and it just wasn't going to work out here.
I think I am ready for Brocail to "come out". Brocail seems to be a huge step down from Maddux. On Yu Darvish’s weird exit and Doug Brocail
Just what this season needed... Brocail throwing Darvish under the bus.
I wouldn't put Rua with those guys. He simply hasn't had a chance. If those other guys would have been given one day off a week and Rua kept in the lineup 5 times a week Rua would probably be doing much better like he did in ST.A pint? Better make that a gallon. Why not? He can't hit RHPI wouldn't put Rua with those guys. He simply hasn't had a chance. If those other guys would have been given one day off a week and Rua kept in the lineup 5 times a week Rua would probably be doing much better like he did in ST.
When it comes to the offense Lucroy and Napoli are by far the biggest disappointments. The 3 headed platoon sucks as well. Getting no contribution out of that spot.
He can't hit RHP if he is never given the opportunity to hit against them on a consistent basis. He has only played on consecutive days once this year. The one time he did he got 2 hits. Why not? He can't hit RHP
Of course he needs more AB's. But when Bannister is sold on rotating them things will remain the way they are. I have stated before that DDJ needs to go to RR and Profar and Rua can play somewhere almost daily. The bottom line is Ryan has not had the chance but be it as it is he h is still the same as Nap etc. All not named Elvis and Maz are bad right now.He can't hit RHP if he is never given the opportunity to hit against them on a consistent basis. He has only played on consecutive days once this year. The one time he did he got 2 hits.
Those other guys you mentioned play just about every game.
Ryan has only had 7 AB against a RH starting pitcher this year so who really knows what he can do. He was 0 for 7 in those situations, but the situations are so infrequent that it is hard to expect him to be much better. At least he didn't strike out in any of those AB. Last year his OPS against RHP was .714. That would put him right behind Maz and Elvis this year even without his AB against LHP.
