Nap needs a couple of days in the cage off the lineup.I'm hoping when Beltre gets back he could kind of stabilize the lineup. It might help Nap the most because he really sucks at hitting clean up. Nap needs a few days off in a row I think. Can't expect the rooster to make a smart move tho.
I think you are overstating things here. He wasn't terrible against right handers last year and he has never been given an good opportunity. Young, Teixeira, Blalock, Palmer, Kinsler, Odor, Maz, Pudge, Juando and Ruben were all given everyday opportunities and they succeeded that way. That is the only way to get a fair assessment. He was terrible against right handers last year. Good against left handers. He is 27. How much longer you going to give him.

He was given a good amount of playing time last year. He was named the opening day left fielder. He ended up playing 99 games and had 240 at bats.I think you are overstating things here. I'm not high on Rua honestly. I'd like to see them scrap the platoon and just run Profar out there until Beltre gets back. Then put Gallo in left.

Profar has a career .498 OPS versus LHPs, Rua is .748, your logic there doesn't add up
It's not really logic. I'd say I'm just sick of them running different guys out there all the time and not letting one get into a groove. Profar has played some lately tho.
Without going back to check on each of them I think almost all of the guys I mentioned previously played on a lot more consistent basis than Rua did last year when they were breaking into the league. They were all pretty much given a position based on what they had done in the minors and were allowed to sink or swim. I believe it was Blalock along with Odor sank and were sent back down for awhile. But then they were brought back up and allowed to play on a regular basis again. None of them succeeded by being part time players. The Rangers have messed up with both Profar and Rua so far in my opinion. He was given a good amount of playing time last year.
