So if you are going to get rid of Quinn, would you also trade Ryan? Ryan is the one that got sacked (instead of throwing the ball away), taking the Falcons out of FG range.
Quinn made the bad decision qb shouldn't have been put in that situation to begin with. Pats were praying to have that opportunity otherwise it was game over for them.

Sometimes it's hard to avoid he could have received intentional grounding or a pick. But if coach doesn't put his qb in that situation by running it can't happen thats my point. Coach screwed them with a poor decision.
Fair enough and I see your point, but Ryan is a vet and he has to understand as a leader where his team is on the field. If a pass play is called, he needs to get rid of the ball and don't take a sack and take his team out of FG range.

Fair enough, we have different opinions and I can respect yours.

Yes take the bad coaching decision out of this and Ryan should have done everything possible to bail out of it but who knows what he was seeing there. Like I said an int was worse and grounding pretty bad...a lot more bad options out there than good.

Teams that lose make decisions like that or they are lucky enough to have good players bail them out time after time. If I'm an owner I want good decisions across the board and this coach doesn't seem capable. He'd do it again according to him...

What's the definition of insanity? I wouldn't make my team run into a Brick wall again and again and again... this guy doesn't understand game management. Cut your losses.

SB in only his 2nd year? Manster and OT are right

Should Atlanta have done things differently? Well yeah, duh. Easy to say now, but they didn't. You can't get a come back like this without both teams playing their part and both did. It still takes a lot of precision and a hell of a lot of moxie (no, not @moxie) to keep driving down that field and complete all those plays. Not many in the league can do that. Just give them their props.

Before the game it looked like Atlanta on paper, but most were still taking the Pats because they've been there and done that and weren't going to get lost in the moment. And that's how it went. Atlanta was the better team in the first half and were fucking horrible in the second. Pats made the adjustments and were laser focused down the stretch. There was no shock there, or shouldn't have been.

When we saw the Pats win the coin toss for the OT period everyone at our party knew it was game over. There was no chance at all they were keeping them out of the end zone.

The better team won.

I get there, I want to win.

I don't want to watch some guy rip me apart and win it.

Twice....

I guess I have higher standards.

I guess you have wish cloud standards win or bust. I 'll take the coach to take me to the big game as owner than never

Losing is never fun. If you get stomped, it hurts.

But if you are right there and see it slip, twice (just the one for Atlanta) I start to see trends.......

And it isn't a trend I'd want.

I had no skin in the game just can't stand coaches or refs blowing games. If a player doesn't execute fine but when the orders don't give them a chance to succeed then thats unacceptable. No different than a general getting thousands killed on the battlefield for no reason. My point was if the coach ran the ball three times in that instance and kicked a FG NE has no chance. Earlier if he ran on 3-1 he attended least kills clock and punts. All of this most likely wins the game for them but he's an idiot.

I can't speak for the other guy but that was my point no whining simple football talk that seems to be over your head as usual...

Well then shut the fuck up about what I said to the other guy. Nobody said the play calls were wise. You're arguing for the sake of it again.
