Not sure any coach wants to try and handle two of them:what:
Damn good point. I saw an E:60 ESPN special on the Bennett brothers not too long ago. Damn good special, worth watching.

LOL, yeah you're going to fire a HC that takes you to the SB, in just his second year as HC. :L
Yes if he didn't learn the lesson in Seattle why will he change his tune now? If you are Blank why let him lose you another one if he even gets there with his pass happy philosophy? He doesn't understand game management.... See you.

So what happened to "My comment was about people thinking NE was going to stop Atlanta from scoring. They can't. That's not conceit, it's reality. They aren't good enough to do so."

Um, I'm guessing they could have if they wanted to but those coaches made Matty Ice lose.

Excuses...and after all of your shit talking, you have a lot of nerve to type anything other than "boy was I wrong and sorry for being such an asshole about it."
You my friend are an idiot. If you can't see that the falcons blew that game no one can help you. When killing clock you run the ball and they only ran it 4 times with two minutes to go in the third quarter! Is that good coaching? Wake up...

I could have swore you were talking about firing Quinn, what does SF have to do with this?

I was talking about Quinn horrible game management and couldn't kick a FG to win a super bowl I'd cut my losses.

Shanahan is going to SF he's cut from the same cloth as laser madden pass happy. He after called the play and Quinn didn't override it from what I'm hearing.

Well I'd think it's wise to give Quinn another shot, again only a fool would release him right now.

Um, well that's another discussion entirely.

rlimia's claim was that the Patriots defense simply wasn't good enough to prevent Atlanta's offense from doing as they please. In fact, it was fact.

From the middle of the 3rd quarter on, Atlanta scored no points at all. That's a 1/3 of the game.

Back to coaching. Besides it being beside the point, if the plays as called are executed, the Falcons ROLL the Patriots.

rmilia did not simply state a boastful case. He was purposely obnoxious about it. He took the chance that he could come back in here and woof shit about it all and that chance fell flat in the most unimaginable way. Now, I'm just havin' a little fun with it....message board stuff.

....can't say I'm sorry to hear about how much that game SUCKED for you :suds:

Good point, but you have to realize that it's only Quinn second year as HC and he took his team to the Super Bowl. Hopefully he will learn in the future. IMO, had Ryan ran out of the pocket and thrown the ball away, instead of taking a sack at the Pats 23 yard line, then maybe the Falcons could have made a 40 yard field goal for a 11 point lead with about 3 minute left. I know coulda, shoulda, woulda, but I don't put all of the blame on Quinn, some of the blame as to go onto Ryan.

I had no skin in the game just can't stand coaches or refs blowing games. If a player doesn't execute fine but when the orders don't give them a chance to succeed then thats unacceptable. No different than a general getting thousands killed on the battlefield for no reason. My point was if the coach ran the ball three times in that instance and kicked a FG NE has no chance. Earlier if he ran on 3-1 he attended least kills clock and punts. All of this most likely wins the game for them but he's an idiot.

I can't speak for the other guy but that was my point no whining simple football talk that seems to be over your head as usual...

What's the definition of insanity? I wouldn't make my team run into a Brick wall again and again and again... this guy doesn't understand game management. Cut your losses.

If the guy hasn't learned this by now he never will. The talent on that team alone can get them there but if you have an idiot managing the game good luck guys like BB will school you every time.

Yep, Ryan is a veteran and should have never been sack at the Pats 23 yard line with 3/4 minutes left in the game. A field goal at that time for the Falcons would have been huge.

So if you are going to get rid of Quinn, would you also trade Ryan? Ryan is the one that got sacked (instead of throwing the ball away), taking the Falcons out of FG range.

Sometimes it's hard to avoid he could have received intentional grounding or a pick. But if coach doesn't put his qb in that situation by running it can't happen thats my point. Coach screwed them with a poor decision.
