I will SUPPORT this. The Offense is suspect under Bevell.

Just let Russell call ALL the plays. Holy shit Bevell.

All you past deniers, can come after me again. Post ALL Previous responses. Great play every now and then,

Bevell is NOT a top 10, slash even top 20 OC. He Sucks.
Please, repost the supporting members of bevell.

The Seahawks may yet win this game. But It will be RW, in spite of Bevell.

Have I mentioned that I HATE the OC. I think I made that clear.

I can't believe that Bevell got called for so many holding penalties.

Or what about when Ifedi just had to retaliate after Arizona got called for a penalty and thus offset the penalties? #@$#@ YOU BEVELL!!!!!!

The offensive team played like mental midgets tonight. They should have gotten a loss with how putrid they played.

Guys, I honestly think we can stop a lot of these wars if we leave these bitching threads to those who feel the need to bitch about it. There are two majors camps and no amount of the same old back and forth has ever made a dent in either side, and likely won't. It's futile.

I have zero problems with them having a place to air it all out. Just keep it off the game threads. If you all feel like fighting with them here then go for it. I'd rather just let them have their place to vent and leave it at that.

We are all hawks fans.

It's not really that complicated.

The OLine needs major improvement. It's very possible they can gel a bit this season like last year and give Russ some more time. Actually, it's going to be necessary.

For the resources they have given to the oline, I am pretty amazed with the record we have so far.

Our defense played like an effin Rocky Movie... They were on that field the entire game it seemed like, and they just wouldn't break ...

Wilsons ability to run made bevell look a lot better than he really is. Now that he cant call a quick and cheap read option his weakness as a play caller is really obvious.

With that said, can we pull the trigger on joe thomas now???

This is a one dimensional offense I can tell when the arizona defense is on the field they were going after RW straight up swarming the guy with their blitzes. CM on a 16 carry for 52 yards avg like 3.2 yards a carry doesnt help

@Anointed One but he is a physical runner though so its fine

if i understand correctly, he has already earned almost half his pay so the cap hit would not be unmanageable.

I have never said he's a physical runner... I have no idea what you're talking about... He has never been a physical runner nor is he now...

Cleveland isn't interested in trading him. They finally have a decent QB prospect who was concussed yesterday, tearing apart the oline mid season may not be a great idea.

RW needs to call the offense, Bevell needs to go.

I think Bevell's play calling would look a lot better if we had a league average offensive line and a quarterback with two good legs. That being said, I think Wilson and Bevell go over the game strategy together during the week and arrival at a strategy that they both agree too. As football-smart as Wilson is, Bevell would be a moron not to listen to and consider his input. So, I think he probably does.

Agree, Polar...

I also believe RW get's too much of a free pass on these boards... When he plays poorly, it's Bevel's fault... When he plays well, it's because he improvises so well... RW is about 70% and we're blaming Bevell... Along with a poor OL... Pretty stupid imo...

Typical Monday reaction thread...

Like some have stated, if you're going to complain, have a plan... Pretty simple... Anyone can complain but not everyone can have a good plan...

To add to what I said previously, I think Wilson's opinion carries a lot of clout in this organization now. Much more than it did four or five years ago. Wilson obviously endorses Bevell or Bevell would be gone by now.

Anyone ELSE hope that Cable and Bevell find jobs elsewhere?

They are not the total blame, but they are certainly part of the problem.
Situation, watching the NE game, Brady often has no rush, ZERO, against him.
Is it that NE has such superior linemen? Or is it Scheme?

FACT FOR ME: I hate it that RW has to scramble on MOST of his dropbacks.
IMO: This is due to faulty coaching. These ATHLETES are ALL superior, FIND them and/or Coach them.

Sorry.

FACT
Seattle pays their O line $6m/y
NE pays their O line $26m/y

NFL Offensive Line Spending - Cap

The Seahawks not only pay the lowest, but the next higher team (Giants) pay more than double what they do. DOUBLE.

It's criminal what this front office has done in neglecting the offensive line.

If you want to keep putting that on Bevell, go right ahead. Just clearing up your comparison to NE and their line and play calling.

Too many years of trying to convert D-line guys into o-line guys. Drafting JI last year was a good start and I hope they hit o-line in the first round again. No more projects.
