I HOPE Mac was legit hurt, and that is why he has been completely ignored during this stretch.

And why DFA Reynolds? He has ONE bad outing. Why not Gearrin who seems to have more bad outings than good outings?

For a team that prides itself on loyalty, they seem to show more loyalty to outside players than their own guys quite a bit.

And why DFA Reynolds? He has ONE bad outing. Why not Gearrin who seems to have more bad outings than good outings?

Complete head scratchers. Why Tony Sanchez? He played one month with Sacramento. Why not Miguel Olivo? He played out the whole season and deserved it more. Why just now and not at the beginning of September?

Matt Reynolds has been one of the better relief pitchers. I could probably think of 6 other pitchers who deserved this more.

Bochy must be expecting a bullpen game. Three more pitchers than what the Mets are carrying. Of course, the Mets' offense has a few more weapons than the Giants'.

Only bat that was removed from the roster (not counting Nunez or Beckham) was Sanchez. The breakdown was pretty much dictated by the available players.
