Again, depends on your keeper league... Playing for the future is not always the best strategy in keeper leagues...
I'm 4-4 right now and currently losing this week

If your team is totally out of it this season, then it was a good trade... If you have any Chance, then I don't love it...
For the guy trading Quintana it is.LOL my buddy is reaming me for this trade saying it is a terrible trade
For the guy trading Quintana it is.
at 4-4 you are still playoff bound... I don't love the trade for you...
We've seen his team. It isn't strong. Sano and Giolito will help way more in the future than Quintana will now.
I know... But it is strong enough to be 4-4... you don't quit on a season where you can still win... even if the odds are against ya... there are ways to fight back...
How is moving Quintana for Sano quitting?
Quintana is having a CY season... Sano is having a replaceable season... Hitting .236 AND being on Minnesota is not helping... even if he has 11 HRs...
Yeah... like you said, regression is due. I like that Sano has 30 walks. As for CY, well Quintana's teammate makes that statement moot.
Yes the walks are a huge plus. But he also leads baseball in strike outs. Not sure if that is a good thing or not though.
Ahck... big swinger big misser. Peak Sano crushes peak Quintana.
We will see. But right now Sano is a bench player and Quintana is at worst a SP2
So I didn't mess up?
I think it is a solid trade. Not as high on Sano as I was before the season, but I do think Quintana is playing a bit over his head. You simultaneously bought low on Sano, sold high on Quintana and acquired a high level prospect in the process.
Your buddy is upset because Quintana is playing like a stud now, but two months ago we were drafting Sano 5-7 rounds higher than Quintana for a reason. Values change and this trade is risky for you, but I think it could work out in your favor.
It is when your team is not that good. Stop talking in riddles man!
