Watched it. I thought that it was pretty good. Review was spot on.

Just watched 10 Cloverfield Lane also. I didn't realize that it is the same guy, John Gallager Jr., playing the redneck in 10CL that is also playing the pyscho in Hush until my wife pointed it out to me. His movie history does not indicate him as a horror type (the closest he has done before this was a role in Jonah Hex, the rest is dramas and comedies) but he is just now starting to get lead roles and the next movie he is in is "The Belko Experiment" which appears to be a blending of Saw and The Cube. Could be a candidate as one of the next horror cult actors if he continues on this route?
Wow, great connection by your wife!! I had to look up his picture before I believed it because my memory of both characters didn't match up. I had no idea either! I really liked him in Hush. He had a pretty bland role in 10CL where you didn't get to see a whole lot of range. And that could be because of like you said, his inexperience. But I like his decision to stick with horror! He made an awesome villain in Hush. Haven't heard of the Belko Experiment. I'll have to read into it.

Yes sir! Just tried to find my review on it and realized that I didn't give one! I only stated in another that it was pushed back 2-3 years before being released. Damn I will have to rewatch it and review it because I do remember liking that movie.

It was a good movie, up until the end I thought.
It had the dumbest friggin ending IMO, if I hadn't of been drinking I might of got pissed off at that crack pot ending.

I don't quite recall what happened. Maybe there's a good reason why if the ending sucked lol.

Watched "The Forest" this weekend, finally. It was decent. Don't really have a full review, had some good parts, some bad parts and some predictable parts to it.

The writing sort of ruined it for me. I didn't care for the climax. Felt like it fell flat.

I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere on the 47 pages but last week I finally got around to seeing It Follows. Definitely an interesting concept and would definitely like to see a sequel. I just wonder what would happen if the person with the curse ended up flying to somewhere like Australia before It could get to them on the plane?

It was reviewed some time ago. Pretty good horror flick.

I did have a similar thought as you did. If IT was following me, I could just go nomad and constantly be on the move. Flying to Australia is a good example. Wait several months. Then fly to Iceland for the summer. Then South Africa for a bit. etc. Or just get in a car and drive to Cali, and after a several weeks, drive back the other direction to NY.

I could see IT being all pissed off and hitchhiking or stuck in line going through TSA, only to arrive at your door step just as you are driving off in the other direction several thousand miles! IT should have learned from The Ring and had a more efficent delivery system (not that The Ring didn't have its flaws either, but still!).

I can't quite remember, but the person cursed could see "it", correct?

I would only feel safe sleeping on a hammock suspended from a tight rope between two cliffs over a 1000ft drop! lol. Then just shimmy myself to the opposite side of the thing to go get supplies when i needed to. Doubt that f*cker can tightrope walk!

So a co-worker told me yesterday, that "The Witch" is one of the most disturbing scary movies he's ever seen. Anyone seen it yet?

I actually tried to watch The Witch with the wife, but it was way too slow so I had to shut it down.

I was just now able to finish it. It is certainly not your average horror movie. If you like psychlogical horror then it is a must see. If you are not so much into that then you should probably avoid.

On a side note, I studied some Puritian crap back in the day at Uni, and I am fucking soooooo happy I am not living in that time and place!
