Each of the separate faction have a number of quests unique to them plus more importantly there is almost no way you'll encounter most of the "events" in just one walkthrough.
I know, and I do have a save set aside in case I do want play again to choose different outcomes. Its just I have played the game for a couple months and while I loved it, for now at least that is enough.

Yup, I made a save around level 50 or so before getting too far into any of the faction stuff for that exact reason. No desire to start from total scratch with a 10mm crap pistol right now, may play later with an odd build (all luck and bashing weapons or something).

I'm think I might try one more faction. Go all in on the Minutemen or the Institute. I'm sure I've still missed much of the game.

After that I think it might be time for X-Com2 to suck up all free time.

Got through Bunker Hill without pissing anyone off. Killed the courser leading the charge underground in the bunker so as to please the Railroad. Choose the "Ambush" option during the talk with Shaun on the roof of CIT & you won't get banished from the Institute. He's irate, but at least you still have the option to proceed with the institute.

I'm probably going to squash the Railroad next during the BOS mission. I'll probably play out the Institute missions to finish one of the Railroad missions that is waiting in limbo (says "Continue working with Shaun"). But after that I say goodbye. I don't see any point to keeping the Railroad around anymore. They don't offer me anything and I don't see any pros to keeping them. The final Railroad mission is going to burn the bridge with the institute, and I'm not sure i want to follow through with it.

Sounds dope. Looks like you can create your own Battle Robot companion! It's dropping next Tuesday. Time to scavenge more screws, oil, metal and copper!

Same, just finished Bunker Hill. I alerted everyone about it too because I was worried I'd piss off the people I left out. Still have good standing with everyone, I even got Bunker Hill to join the Minutemen after! Now I can use them as a settlement.

Before you crush the Railroad, make sure you have the ballistic weave.

Not sure why, but I never got the opportunity to inform the railroad. I went there and tried but nobody gave me the option. I think it was because I was too far along in the BOS missions. I knew that because I had only ever received one mission from PAM before she went into "security lockdown" or whatever. My only railroad mission that was available was the synth breakout, but it was in limbo telling me to "continue working with Shaun". And to continue working for the Institute my only option was the Battle of Bunker Hill. So I had no other options. Oh well!

What's the ballistic weave? Is that the Rail Gun?

Heh. I spent the extra $20 when I bought the game, so I've got all the DLC content. Never

Best non power armour in the game.

That sucks. Yeah there's a lot more the railroad can offer, but you won't get it at this point if PAM is locked down. May as well blow them to smithereens. Speaking of which, I'm about to go do the Brotherhood quest that blows them up right now.

The ballistic weave is a tool that allows you to add armor to cloths that normally don't have any protection. Like army fatigues, the baseball uniforms, hats etc. It's some serious armor protection too, over 100 DMG resist per piece. The best part is, you can add it to clothing that you can wear under your regular armor, and you basically are wearing armor equivalent to Power Armor.

Damn that sounds pretty legit. I'll have to revisit the Railroad before I blow them up. Just to make sure they aren't all the sudden offering me anything. Doubt it, but worth a shot.

They don't really 'offer' it to you btw. You just do so many missions for them, and then the ability to craft it shows up in your list at some point. BTW, you'll still have to track down the items that are craftable with it, AND the ballistic weave to use as raw material.

Not ALL the different clothing is wearable under armour pieces also. In my latest playthrough, I thought it would be a laugh to amour a tuxedo and formal hat. Which have the 100 armour rating, yes, but the tux doesn't allow you to layer the armour pieces over top (so no legendary items that increase your strength or x, y or z)

Dirty military fatigues work.

I believe that one of the merchants in Goodneighbour sells the raw ballistic weave material, as well as the BOS dude on the airship. You can rarely find it scavenging in the wasteland.

At any rate, if the Railroad rewards you the mod option will pop up when you click on an armour station.

One good thing about the Weave is that it does not add any weight to the clothing. I ended up weaving all my outfits (my charisma outfit as well as my "armor" outfit). Before I had a natural 11 charisma, I would carry the pompadour wig (+2, IIRC) and the suit you get when you find Strong (+3, IIRC). I so often forgot to change back into my real armor after talking to someone that I would be destroyed when going into battle. having my "talk'n clothes" offer a bit of protection gave me just enough time to change mid-fight.

I think I've run into a complete impass lol... So as I stated before, I have the Railroad locked up with one quest saying "Continue working with Shaun", so I continued the Institute quests... But now I'm at a impass with them, where I'm supposed to use the Relay to go back to the surface (Mass Fusion) to get the Nuclear Reactor online. But going forward with this mission tells me that it will instantly make the BOS an enemy. But it gives me the option to inform the BOS prior to it, but when I go there to speak with them, they are already waiting to start the quest that ends the relationship with the Railroad! lol. So I can't "inform them" without first destroying the Railroad.

That happened to me too. I blew up the institute as the BOS but the Minutemen are still waiting for me to break into the Institute... ??

I was just at this point the other day. Decided to go through with the Brotherhood's quest to destroy the Railroad first. Now I have 2 quests, Mass Fusion and Spoils of War. One is for the Institute, the other for the Brotherhood, both trying to acquire the same equipment. I'll probably go with the Institute, just because I haven't completed all their quests yet and I'm pretty much done with the Brotherhood's. Then again, I went through with building Liberty Prime, so maybe I should side with them.

This is what I'm going to do, but I'll probably end up choosing the BOS. After watching the Liberty Prime in action (youtube)... There's no way that I can choose to be against BOS. That mission looks badass!

Liberty Prime is still fun to watch in action.
