Love to see guys like Cam get knocked down a few pegs.
I can't believe it isn't a Tom Brady threadOr is it a Cam Newton thread? Psychology is fun.

Good point.Isn't a thread that exists in a Tom Brady world theoretically a Tom Brady thread???
Do you even know what the word "Dude" means?
Well I don't dress flashy, and I'm not some city slicker out in the country, and I'm certainly not the kind of dude a Spicoli or Bill & Ted would use it on.
So I suspect I do.
And I've never answered to Dude in the real world....
Dud sometimes works on me though.
LOL, okay fair enough I won't use the word again while I'm addressing you.Well I don't dress flashy, and I'm not some city slicker out in the country, and I'm certainly not the kind of dude a Spicoli or Bill & Ted would use it on.
So I suspect I do.

I like ya, Dude. Wish you didn't cuss so much.

I hate when a movie quote just flies over everyone's head.
Granted it was a pretty big paraphrase.
What shocked me the most was that Cam apparently (didn't see it, but read about it) conceded he didn't jump on the ball for fear of injury or something like that. I thought for sure he may have thought it was about to bounce or squirt in his direction and was setting up for that....but to hear him explain it...yeah, truly pathetic "effort." No way Wilson or...well, really just about any other QB in the NFL...doesn't jump on the ball in that situation. Who else wouldn't have??
He's like a boxer that's afraid to get hit in the face...MVP of the league, really !!
Its all about character, selflessness (contracts aside) and leadership.
I don't see Cam going out and fighting after he's down 31-0 at the half.
I can understand it. That's his jump shot arm as well.
Ive seen Manning fall down without getting touched and crawl into a ball because he didn't want to get hit but for fumbles I don't recall one and I'm no Manning fan. You've seen Manning not go after his fumbles a lot since he's been in Denver? Funny, I haven't seen that. I saw him dive after a couple of fumbles in the Super Bowl, one of which he got back. And once he actually got a holding penalty as he fought Brian Orakpo for a fumble.
The Cam fumble happened with over 3 minutes left, down 6. The Panthers had 3 timeouts. If Cam falls on that fumble, the Panthers punt. If they can force a 3 and out, they'll get the ball back with over 2 minutes to go, needing a touchdown to win. The only way the game ends at that point is if Denver recovers the fumble, which they did because Cam didn't go for it.
