As a Kings fan....they can look past that one.

I'm not gonna dismiss them as easily as you and some others have. Rondo seems to be regaining his youth somehow....Rudy Gay has always been solid when he's healthy, Cousins is in beast mode, and is a force as long as he keeps his head together, and Belinelli has been a Warriors killer from behind the arc ever since they traded him.

I know its not likely... but how cool of a moment would it be for Kobe to go bananas tomorrow and stop the dubs from the record? I feel like we're due for 1 more big Kobe moment and tomorrow night seems like the perfect opportunity.

Kobe on beating history-chasing Warriors: 'I've seen stranger things happen'

LOS ANGELES (11/23)-- All that stands between the Golden State Warriors and the NBA record for most wins to start the season (16-0) is the 2-11 Los Angeles Lakers, with the two teams meeting Tuesday in Oakland. Not surprisingly, Lakers star Kobe Bryant is confident.

"I've seen stranger things happen," Bryant said Sunday after his team's 107-93 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center. "We've been playing like s---. We might go up there and we might play like gangbusters up there. You never know. "

Lakers coach Byron Scott was asked for his thought on the matchup. He laughed.

"That's my thought right now," Scott said. "They're the best team I've seen in the league and it's not close ... . They're the best team I've seen in a while."

With the Warriors chasing history, Scott said he expects the Warriors to be ready.

"They haven't had a whole lot of lulls in any of the games that they've played," Scott added. "When they do [have a lull], they've got so much confidence in the way they play and how they play that they don't panic.

"You can be up by 23 [against the Warriors] and it doesn't matter, especially if they've got two quarters left. It's a difference if you're up 23 with five or six minutes left; then you've probably got a great chance of winning that game. But if you give them 24 minutes left in the game, there's not a whole lot of leads that are too big for them [to overcome]."

Scott admires the way the Warriors play, but he isn't exactly looking forward to facing them.

"Basically I look at them as a fan, when I watch them play," Scott said. "Unfortunately I don't have that luxury Tuesday. I love watching them play because they do all the things we talk about. They share the ball. They play for one another. They play as a team."

PAT RILEY: WARRIORS CAN BE 'DYANSTIC'
The Miami Heat president also heaped praise on the Warriors' backcourt, calling Steph Curry and Klay Thompson "the two most dynamic players in the backcourt, that I have ever seen, since Jerry West and Gail Goodrich."

I guess we'll see, they played the Warriors close last time without Cousins and Collison. If the Kings have Rudy back and the Warriors have an off day shooting it could get interesting. Games between these teams are usually close, despite the blowout wins for GSW last season. I'd be fine losing to them by 30 if the Kings won the 3 games they have before them, it would be a cool win to get but I just want wins no matter who it's against.

Why would anyone be tire of the warriors? Most entertaining team
Nor Cal rivals trying to become one of the best teams ever? Yeah, I can't get on board with that. They're also turning into a really cocky team which I guess is understandable because of how good they've been but that makes it easier to root against them. I respect them for what they've been able to do though.

I'm not sure how to post the link. If you go to mavsmoneyball . com (no spaces) there is a link to a video that the Mavericks played earlier this week before the game. It is an animated cartoon called "DeAndre Jordan: The Frightened Man-Boy".

It is shocking (but funny) to me that the Mavs would have shown this on their jumbotron.

Hopefully this starts a trend across the NBA ... teams creating animated cartoons making fun of opposing players ... and playing them on the jumbotron. (a lot of material out there ... Cuban/Clips, Rivers/Warriors, DRose, LeBron, DwightH, Kobe, ...)

Watching OKC right now. If I were ever a teammate of Durant or Westbrook id be pissed. Other than Ibaka making a jumper a few times it's literally a two man show for 48 minutes.
Yea, when your two top players score 90% of the teams points a night and barely win in some cases that's usually a sign something is wrong.

I disagree, I don't think they're a cocky bunch at all. I think they're confident, which came after a lot of tough roads and losses. And they finally bought into the idea that they're all really good when they play together. Nothing wrong with that and it makes watching them a great time for most basketball fans. If only more teams, such as the Lakers, played together as a team for 48 minutes we might see a better product all the way around.

Well, if you're talking about the team going through the tough roads and losses, how many of them have actually been there for those down Warriors years? Steph yeah and maybe one year for Klay, but I think they've been a playoff team since Barnes, Green, Ezili, Iggy, etc have been there. Unless you're counting those years where they won 45-50 games instead of 67 as the tough roads and losses. I think it's a mix of cockiness and confidence, and they deserve to be confident. I know I'd like to watch my Kings play together on offense like them and play good defense like them.

You are more confident than me. I'm not sure Kobe can physically do it all game anymore, let alone play at a high enough level to beat the Warriors. He may catch fire for a short stretch, such as the first quarter last night, but it's just not sustainable all game.

This. I hate teams with cocky players on them. Great or not, it just fuels the fire for me to hate them more and want them to lose. That's why I hate Westbrook.

I guess I can see it. One of those, hate it unless you have it type deal.

I don't see the players as cocky, really more just having fun. They genuinely enjoy playing with each other and making plays for each other. This is Andre Iguodala's 3rd year with the team. In his first he said he and the team were trying to get Klay paid, which they did. He said last year they were trying to feed Draymond to get him paid. This year he talks about how they're looking for Barnes more to get his value up. I think from a chemistry point of view the guys just generally like each other and I think that reflects on the court.

Just to play devils advocate, most of the cockiness that might be viewed this year could be attributed to basically everyone saying they're not that good. Why would you expect them to be humble about that?

I understand where you're coming from but then again, I wouldn't be cocky about it. I'd just continue to play and show everyone that they were wrong. You don't have to be humble, but you shouldn't be cocky.

LOL ok I guess all the years prior to them winning last year weren't considered tough losses. There's 15 other teams that make the playoffs every season that don't win. Take LAC & Houston for example. They pretty much make the playoffs every season yet continue to suffer tough losses. SMH.

Well Westbrook I definitely would agree is cocky, even though he's yet to win anything of relevance.

But what do the Warriors do that is cocky? I mean when any of them gives an interview after a game they always compliment each other and give credit to the TEAM instead of just themselves. They also give a lot of credit to their coach the and the system he's implemented there. I guess I just don't see what you're referring to.
