You don't ever want to fire a coach who is a REAL winner.

TA should be limited to 20-25 passes per game. Nebraska would have beaten Purdue with that same passing formula with Fyfe.

I want to congratulate my Huskers for a game well played. It appears that they are learning to play 60 minutes of football.

And to all the old hens that want ot tell me how bad Tommy Armstrong did I just say puhleez. He didn't sign up for this and considering the circumstances he does an outstanding job.

And I can't wait to see the finished product with the defense. 3 sacks and 2 interceptions. Curious if one the stat hounds might want to see how long it's been for that. I can't remember in recent years.

And the players are starting to look like they are having fun, especially on defense. Haven't seen that since Suh.

R_A we've played some good football two weeks in a row, please enjoy it

It's cool stool

However, I'm not going to sit here and let peeps re-invent the season with unrealistic BS.

One of our bi-polar posters the other day posted that Nebraska was a Play-Off team. WTF?

Michigan St played bad and Rutgers is just plain bad.

We've got 2 weeks to prep for the achievable .500 record & bowl game eligibility. This team can make a statement in 2 weeks.

Look, so far this season, our rush defense has been above average and our pass defense has been complete horseshit. I haven't looked it up but, I am willing to bet the opposing qb's have had career passing days against Nebraska this season. Bo had some really good secondaries during his time here and some shitty rush defenses. This year's defense is way below average.

At the start of the season into midway the secondary was horrendous. Three weeks ago. They (being the secondary) hadn't caught on. But now it looks like they are starting to get it and that they are liking it.
This team that was on the field tonight is not the same team that played BYU.

Not saying that at all. Not saying they are good now either.
I think they are trending up now and if that is the case then Riley may have rounded the corner and just may be able to do it.
After Purdue I thought he had lost them and it was over. That seems like it may of just been a wake up call though.

I'm just going to enjoy not losing right now, I'll wait on the koolaid till I see how we come out for the iowa. I have my assumptions but they will never be justified playing a Rutgers

And I could be wrong but I don't think the original argument by JJM was not that they were good all season either but this defense (Bankers) hitting on all cylinders like today is better than Bo's.
That is the way I took it anyway. There is no way that defense against Miami was better and anyone would be a fool to argue it.
Unfortunately some around here grab a hold of statements like these and twist them to suit their agenda.
