Interesting pics.

Leia, Kyle Ren and the black guy all have sabers while Han and the girl have muggle weapons. If we are to read into that, the black guy is, in fact, one with the force while the girl is not. I thought we were supposed to think the opposite going in.

Finn is Han Solo's son!

Wow. That would be as stupid as giving Jeff Golblum's character a 100% black daughter in a Jurassic Park movie. Of wait, they did that.....

A lot of people are jumping to the conclusion that Finn is a Jedi because we see him with a lightsaber. I don't think this is necessarily true. In early Episode VII concept art there were images of stormtroopers with lightsabers. It would make sense for the Empire to train some of their forces with these weapons if they could in a limited role. I think Finn was one of these stormtroopers who just happened to have had a little experience using a lightsaber before he defected. He doesn't look real confident in the trailer when Kylo Ren starts coming at him.

I also don't think Finn is who the spoiler above says he is. I didn't read the comic but I believe that little twist was explained as some kind of misunderstanding and those characters weren't actually a couple.

There were some Force Wakens trading card pics leaked that had Rey listed as the Jedi, but not Finn.

I'm still thinking all this Finn with a light saber stuff is to throw folks off the trail.

That's the assumption if Finn was going to be Han's son. He would have been the son of Han and the black woman who claims to be his wife in the comic. What I'm saying though is I'm pretty sure that claim turned out to be untrue, basically just a dramatic cliffhanger. It would ruin the character of Han Solo if this who time he was trying to get Leia he was married and then had a kid with this other woman years after meeting her and after falling in love with Leia. I just don't buy it for lots of reasons that seem pretty obvious.

If they play it safe, none of the main characters. Probably someone Rei meets along the way. Maybe Leia? She is supposed to be force sensitive at the end of the original trilogy. It looks like someone wearing a robe.

I'd say it's someone Rei knew who isn't a main character of the new or original trilogy.

Lately I keep thinking it's Chewie.... maybe because of the sorrowful embrace we see between Han and Leia in the other trailer. Who knows. Could be Han, Finn, somebody not known to us yet, etc.

I wouldn't say it would ruin Solo if it were true. He is suppose to be a scoundrel of sorts that gets redeemed thru the events of the first trilogy. Perhaps he isn't technically married but still fathered the kid

At what time period does the fake wife reveal herself in the comic? After RotJ or before? Force Awakens is supposed to be about 30 years after RotJ, after Han is redeemed from his scoundrel days. For Finn to be Han's son, he would have had to had hooked up with the fake wife after RotJ and that's what I think would ruin him as a hero.
