Yeah, I think we will get a better idea as to who the Raiders really are in the next couple of weeks.

I mentioend previously that Steve Atwater's son is at Princeton

This most of you know Ed's son Christian starting RB for Stanford older son Max starting WR at Dule.

Greg Kragen also has a son starting at DE for California Kyle Kragen.

Also want to note that both Ed McCaffrey and Steve Atwater's sons do excellent in school.

Obviously the 3 going to Stanford, Duke and Princeton are bright, the other Atwater goes to a very small school, has the best GPA on the team and was named Spanish student of the year. Very bright kids. Incase anyone cared. :)

I like the RB from Georgia Chubb as well. Pretty sure he took over for Gurley when he went down and has been nothing but an animal so far. Jumbo Elliot also empresses me as far as rb`s go.

Broncos players sons ought to go to a Colorado University - like Mohammad Oliver's son did (preferably CU).

Yah Nick Chubb is a beast. If it wasn't for Fournette he'd be getting as much hype. He was even better then Gurley last year when he replaced him which is pretty darn impressive.

Yeah DC. Hey, who was the rb that broke Melvin Gordons record ( that was Emmit Smiths ) the very next wknd? I want to say he`s from Indiana but that might be whats`s his name Telvin Coleman for the Falcons. Can`t remember his name or school but I had the pleasure of watching Gordon run for what was it 408 yds or something? I was so impressed that he broke the single gm record that stood for so long, then was absolutley "floored" when this rb broke that record following wknd. I could look it up but figured you or someone would save me the trouble :)

You're thinking of Oklahoma RB Samaje Perine.

The record was actually LaDanian Tomlinson before Gordon.

I was at the Iowa/Wisconsin game the week after Gordon broke that record and saw that Perine had broken his. Crazy set of events. The way Gordon interviewed during all of that was great, IMO... Sucks that he is a Charger, but just a fantastic person. Seemed to be very humbled and non stop smiles.

Speaking of which I am going to the Iowa at Wisconsin game this weekend.

Big game for Houston tomorrow, at Tulsa. Hopefully the Cougars, like the Broncos, get to 4-0 this weekend!
Feel pretty good about both, but, of course, you never know.

Greg Ward puts up some amazing numbers.

Love William Jackson as an NFL prospect too.

Tulsa/Houston is gonna be a high scoring fun game.

Keevan Lucas and Keyard Garrett are fun to watch on Tulsa.

Hate that Jonathan Wiliams went down for Arkansas. Had him on my college fantasy team. ;)

Keon Hatcher injury didn't help either.

Arkie has some other pass catchers though able to help out. Drew Morgan and Hunter Henry have looked pretty good but Arkansas is just pretty vanilla on offense and an average D this year. The loss early in the year and blowing the lead vs Texas A&M just seems like a team that is finding ways to lose games.

Bingo on Perrine and duh on me with LT. I actually am having hard time in college pick em deciding Iowa vs Wisconsin gm. Iowa is no slouch but tough to win at Badgers. Hmnn....

I read in the preseason that he is projected as a possible first round pick. He had a pick six last week and I don't recall him getting beat in the games I've seen, so I figure he has only helped himself.

Do you know anything about the draft prospects of the senior safeties Adrian McDonald and Trevon Stewart? Both have really shown a knack for taking the ball away the past few years.

Hey Mingo,

Can CU actually beat Oregon tomorrow?

Yes - CU can beat Oregon tomorrow. These Buffs were built specifically to take on Oregon. The key will be the Buffs run game - as it needs to control the clock. The defense has been adding speed and open field tackling as skills sets and has become more aggressive. The Buffs can win, but must not beat themselves and need to play a near perfect game. Helfich used to coach in Boulder - I wasn't impressed with him then - and I am not impressed with him now - Coach Mac - is the better coach. Jim leavitt has been added as the DC and he was a great hire.

The Buffs have something up their sleeve - as they have a big in-season recruiting weekend planed for the Oregon game this weekend - so I know the buff coaches think they will be competitive in this game.

Very hard game to pick. Wisconsin O not the same without Corey Clements in the lineup.

Iowa is out their starting LT Boone Myers and their top WR Tevaun Smith. If it was in Kinnick I would give the edge to Iowa.

Both D's playing well.

I probably give Wisconsin the home field edge, but it should be a good one.

Iowa has played really well through the first 4 games. Finally have a good QB.
