Missing MM big time. But the talent on that side of the ball is the best at has ever been. Adams needs to realize he doesn't have to be a one man army.

Defense showed some great signs. By the time PAC play starts, I will not be at all concerns about the defense.

Oregon scored 28. This is less than Oregons normal. MSU only gave up 28 or more 4x last year. Oregon, Ohio State, Baylor and Purdue. 3 of 4 of those were top 10 teams.
I feel like if you played that game 10x its 5-5.

Here to say congrats to MSU for a well fought game.

That said, Adams did not look good today. Whether that was because of the MSU D or that he got lost running the Ducks O and had a bad game, who knows. I can say the 2 ints both needed to be thrown about 5 yards deeper. I don't know if he miss judged the speed of Nelson or his arm just isn't strong enough to throw that far. I will give credit to the MSU safety for the second one he baited Adams perfectly. Further, I could sort of read the writing on the wall when they failed to score that 4th and goal from the 1 in the 2nd quarter. It seems to be a running theme in their close losses over the last few years that failing to get points in that situation comes back to bite them in the ass later.

On the other hand I really liked what I saw from the Oregon D today. They are the only reason the the game was still in reach at half. if they hadn't played so out of their minds good the score could have easily been 21-7 or 28-7 at half. I didn't get to see much of the second half as I had a prior engagement I had to go to, but I feel good about they way they fought back even if they came up short.

Sparty, go out there and win the rest of your games.

He was also hurt.

He will grow and get better each week along with this team. We lost by 3 on the road to a top 5 team with an NFL QB. Not bad. Not bad at all.

why didn't Helfrich bring in more RBs throughout the game. We didn't see James until Royce got hurt. We need to be rotating our RBs in and out just like we did against EWU. We have very talented RBs, lets use them!
