They are not only accusations against the Patriots. They went thru the NFL justice system and they were found guilty. And as I said before....anyone with half a brain knows the Pat's and Brady were deflating footballs.

You need to wake the hell up and pull your head out from the Patriot's ass. Nothing wrong with acknowledging that what the Pat's did was wrong even if you were a Patriots fan. You can argue that the penalties are too severe but don't act or infer for a second that the Patriots are innocent of deflating footballs. And pointing out that other teams probably did it in the past isn't' a defense either. It's a logical fallacy...Tu quoque. Look it up.

It's called objectivity. You should try it. Being honest won't take away the Pat's SB title and it won't keep Brady out of the HOF. And it most certainly doesn't mean you're not a Pat's fan.
you DO know "nfl justice system" is a total oxymoron...right?

you know who went thru that "infallible system" too?

Brady innocent? That's like people who ask what will happen if OJ is found to be innocent. he actually was found innocent, but not everyone believes it. Kinda the same thing with T-Brad. Until I hear someone else use the term deflator to mean someone who lost a lot of weight, I won't believe him.

For Brady or OJ?
"deflating" as weight loss.

someone here, not a pats fan, posted it a while back. a video right from NFL.com showing players working out saying they are trying to "deflate".

no joke. now, im not saying thats what these fems texting were meaning, but...you did say "Until I hear someone else use the term deflator to mean someone who lost a lot of weight, I won't believe him."

and there is a video on nfl.com showing just that. its kinda funny.

us locals are always way ahead @DirtDirtDirt

ive proven that before

what to watch for next: how ted wells seems to have gotten hold of bradys text messages by violating the law. yup. i wont expand beyond this, i will wait to be proven right when this goes to court.

somehow, wells has been a step ahead on asking the exact questions he needs to, after botching other investigations. there is a growing rumbling that he somehow got hold of this info, illegally, and tho he cant submit it as evidence as a result, he has been using it all along to try and "gotcha" brady by asking questions only brady would have seen based on his personal texts.

like knowing the answers to a test and asking the questions.

this whole thing is going to be a hot mess once it hits court.

You do realize that every single person you listed were found to be guilty?

The only thing that changed on any of those was the length of time (and money) that the CBA allowed for them to be suspended for.

When Brady takes his case to court, he won't be arguing his innocence. He will be arguing whether or not the CBA allows for the punishment he received or if the NFL had in anyway violated protocol during in its investigation. At this point all he is doing is trying to get off on a technicalities.

Hey @Rock Strongo

Brady cheated and can't play anymore.

Your posts won't change those facts, amigo.

Whether Goodell is found to be acting in bad faith and Whether Brady is completely innocent can be two different things.

Brady may not be completely innocent but Goodell and the NFL can still lose in court.

Kraft saying he won't fight the penalty doesn't mean he's admitting guilt.

Is this hard to understand or something?

It will be interesting to see if a Court will interfere with a procedure put in place as part of a collective bargaining agreement.

What if it turns out that the NFL (Goodell) is wrong and has acted in bad faith, and the federal court finds against it? Most of the posters on NFL message boards are so busy gleefully bashing the Patriots in general and Tom Brady in particular that they haven't considered this outcome. But, it's a real possibility.
So, let's put team loyalties aside and consider the consequences: What happens if the NFL findings and its procedures are overturned?

If Tom Brady was innocent would he not have turned over everything to show just how innocent he was to get the media circus over and not have to spend $$$$ Millions in legal costs to try and save his rep?

"What If Tom Brady Is "Innocent"?"

I think Pittsburgh will have a better chance of winning if Brady plays his celebration game ...

yes, and tampering with equipment is a 25k fine.

no one has ever been suspended for "tampering with equipment".

You need to read up on this situation:

The NFL is most likely going with the suspension of 4 games based on doing things against the "Unfair Acts" rule. If a team does "Unfair Acts" such as play with a lower pressure inflated balls compared to the other teams the penalty can be much worse than a $25,000 fine. I dont think it will be hard for the NFL to prove there were Unfair Acts being done by Brady.

The Penalty available for "UnFair Acts" reads as follows:

The penalties for Unfair Acts appear to be unlimited and range from a minimum of fines, suspensions, and lost draft picks, all the way to giving commissioner Roger Goodell the power to replay the game or even rule it a forfeit:

The Commissioner’s powers under this section (UNFAIR ACTS) include the imposition of monetary fines and draft choice forfeitures, suspension of persons involved, and, if appropriate, the reversal of a game’s result or the rescheduling of a game, either from the beginning or from the point at which the extraordinary act occurred.

This is no longer a question of whether Brady is innocent or not. Every reasonable person knows he is guilty. It's now about whether he gets off on a technicality or not.
