When Zunino swung at that ball four in the dirt with the bases loaded I lost my mind.... Wanted to put a hit out on him. Then he hit a nice double off the wall and completely redeemed himself.

Cano with 7 HRs in his last 23 games. To put that into perspective, that's 49 HR over a 162 game span.

Not including today, the Mariners are 10-12 during that stretch.

glad that he's waking up, but i'm a lot more interested in him lowering his K rate, and raising his OPS+ and OBP than i am in homers.

hoping he shows improvement there, and gives me some reason to be optimistic about what he'll do in 2016.

Couldn't agree more. The somewhat worrying part about his hot July, is that despite hitting 5 HRs in July with a .317/.358/.571 line, his K rate is still way higher than his career norm during this period, and he has only walked twice in those 15 games.

Don't worry.. There on the brink of getting put out of there misery .... 9 games under .500 now ... Soon all hope will be lost , were almost into Aug now... 14 years and counting ... Someone that was born the last time the Mariners made the playoffs almost has their drivers license....

I want to disagree, but the fact that the Mariners easily just lost two games they should've won makes it hard to disagree.

Unfortunately for our organization, it's not even like we have that promising of a farm system anymore.

I have twin 15 year old boys and they have no idea why I watch the M's every night. All they've ever known is the Ms having terrible games/season since they've been watching.

Last night's game, for me, was rock bottom. Only silver lining is one more day closer to football season and Jack/Lloyd getting fired.
