Well Sooner, nobody ever understands women in general and there is certainly a contingency of women (airheads that don't know, understand, or care to understand cars) that find them "cute". Usually, those women are attracted to the class of cars you are suggesting. Go figure.

I think one of the ultimate "Sleeper Cars" was the base 340 Duster.
Looked like Grandma's car but could blow your doors off.
It was just so light.
Had it happen to me a couple of times.

Not sure if it really counts as a muscle car but probably my favorite car of all time. So, a V6 with a turbo, do you guys consider it a muscle car?
Absolutely!! One of my fav's

I used to live in a town of 6,500 folks.

And there were 2 GNs and 1 GNX. Very odd to find as high a % of GN owners as that.

The GNX was an absolute screamer.
Every now and then I check CL for Gran Nationals and Regal T-Types

I totally agree outofyourmind and if you went with the optional 340 six pack, a hurst four-speed, and a posi rear-end, they were badass light cars.

That maybe true but in the mid-80's I had a Toyota MR-2 that was a bigger chick magnet than the Javelin was...cruising around San Antonio one night it seemed like every time I stopped at light chicks would just come over...and yeah there were some who were probably street walkers but...
had the same affect/effect with this ... miss it ...

My fatehr has a Regal T-Type sitting in his garaqge probably overrun by rats at this point. It pisses me off to no end. Talking about it will be mine when he dies. Yea, but what will be left?

The car I took driver's ed in, I shit you not. Talk about fun when we went for the highway drive...I still think the two girls in the back seat pissed their pants when the instructor told me get up to highway speed (back when it was 70 on the two lane) and I floored that sucker. :laugh3:

I didn't take Driver's Ed because I passed my Driver's license exams on the first take. Plus I didn't need any additional credits to graduate and Driver's Ed was an option class when I matriculated through High School.

1971 1/2 Chevy Camaro. My father owned one and sold it when he married my mother. Eventually I want to be able to find one and give it back to him.

This looks pretty similar to his.

See, for us, you had to pass Drivers Ed before you could go get your permit at age 15 1/2, which required a licensed driver in the car for you to drive; although they only had to be 16 themselves.
So it was of vital importance for us to do so.
