Day to Day
Jury just came in and found Hernandez GUILTY on all counts.
Given the shit pile they presented as evidence I have to say I'm surprised that they returned with a guilty verdict on Murder 1.
Don't get me wrong I think Hernandez is a POS and guilty as sin, but the threshold for "beyond a reasonable doubt" is rarely reached with circumstantial evidence and hearsay.
That's a verdict I did not expect, certainly not based on what I read. Evidence mostly circumstantial, conflicting testimony and no murder weapon. Life with no possibility of parole? Just WOW! Boston is a tough town!!As the decision dragged out I really was starting to think it would be a hung jury.

If he's going to prison with no possibility of parole, what's the point?Next trial please!!!

The jury didn't buy his story. That's a verdict I did not expect, certainly not based on what I read. Evidence mostly circumstantial, conflicting testimony and no murder weapon. Life with no possibility of parole? Just WOW! Boston is a tough town!!

2050? Maybe he'll be able to play for the jets? For the murders in Boston they have Hernandez's bloody clothes and the gun which they found in an SUV he rented that was being stashed in his uncle's garage in Bristol, CT. The double murder is pretty much a slam dunk. He'll get two more concurrent life sentences
He'll get out in 2050 for good behavior and prison over crowding.
I get that GNG, and I'm shedding no tears here but on what evidence did they convict? Unless there was some shit I missed, there was no real proof.
Hows the bambino?
