Who ya got in the Final Four? A little past mid-season (ish) so I thought I'd make a thread that could be fun to bump later on.


I got:

Kentucky, Gonzaga, Arizona & Wisconsin.

Kinda boring, I know. But if anyone has sleeper picks, now is the time to speak up.

Part of me wants to say Virginia and Gonzaga both miss the Final Four again, but this year I think one of them will finally break through. If they both do, then hell will freeze over. Another team I like a lot is Utah.

Nothing in this forum with "Final Four" in the thread title that has been active since last April.

So if there was a preseason thread it had a title just as cryptic as this one.

I'll take Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and Louisville. (of course I also wouldn't be surprised if they ended up in the same region as the top 4 seeds)

I also doubt there would have been a lot of MSU and Cuse picks in the preseason as neither was projected to be very good this season. I'd venture there would have been a lot more disappointed Florida picks than anything. They were top 10 in the preseason. Cuse and MSU weren't.

Anyone who truly knew this years Florida team knew we were a questionable top ten. No real big man down low and a lot of young players. And when they started out with many injuries and under achievement in play it didn't help.

I knew Florida was going to have a rough start but I don't think many people expected them to be struggling to this extent.

Me included. They definitely dropped some they should have won. And once a few of those games get in the pschie its hard to shake. Found some preseason FF picks in the ongong thread around post #417.

Yeah, I do remember reading that at the beginning of the season, and remember thinking that he was a little cuckoo. But considering his track record last season, I was willing to give it a little credence.

This is the issue. Impossible to even guess without match ups. You know the top 4(maybe Duke instead of Wisco or Zona right now) but beyond that it's tough.


Since everyone else is guessing I'll just go UK, Virginia, Gonzaga and UL.

I think at this point that Florida is already reduced to needing to win the SEC Tournament. Unless they beat UK in the regular season, but they've done nothing to suggest that they will. So even if they go 10-2 in their last 12 games they still enter the SEC Tournament at 20-11. I don't think that's enough to get an at large, especially since they'll have lost another game.

I'm confused by the UL and Kansas guesses, honestly. What has anyone seen from Kansas that has people thinking they can make a final four? They are perennial under achievers in the tournament when they have stacked teams, and this team is clearly not in the level of most of those teams.

UL, I guess I'm the only one who thinks they aren't very good, so maybe I'm the crazy one. But I'm pretty confident that from what I have seen they are top 10 frauds
