We just look off today. It sucks but I understand it happens. I think TCU beat us twice.

It's getting tiresome to watch our team fade every year after getting your hopes up. The offense the last two games just didn't show up, just as we saw last year and in 2012, the offense just fell apart. Very disheartening.

We were beat by a team of better athletes who wanted it more today.

I have not seen Trickett throw the ball more than 30 yards since the beheadings incident against TCU. Not having the deep game has really hurt us.

It will be interesting to find out at season's end, but I think Clint's surgically repaired shoulder is troubling him.

Like we saw last year, this greatly reduces the kind of plays that can be called.

It has been going on for more then the last 2 years. It has been going on ever since I can remember, with the exception of a few times.

We really need some help on both of our lines, the lines are what is really hurting us.

The offense had if Trickett is hurt then get him out if there, he is making bad decisions as well. On the 4th down from the 7 he throws a 2 yard pass....force the damn ball there, you have nothing to lose. The safety while not all his fault, try to at least get rid of the ball, same result either way if a flag is thrown. I think he has regressed more than the offense as a whole. Right plays are being called, poor execution.

I do wonder if the damn replay official would not have blown that play dead if we would have had a different afternoon. :noidea:

I was scratching my head all game yesterday, our players seem to forget how to play as the season goes on. I disagree about right plays being called, when Smith gets you fifty yards down the field, why go to Buie in the red zone? The players need motivation from the coaches, yesterday the defense righted the ship in the second half, the offense had one good drive.....

The problem with the QB situation is the same as last year. The coaches must feel that a hurt Clint is better than the other options. Watching the recording of last year's KU game, Millard was terrible in that loss. Clint came back for the ISU game and the offense played really well until their last 2 possessions.

But, I agree…. Clint has regressed… for whatever reason…

I know the O-line has logged a ton of minutes… and I am unsure if there has been much substitution throughout the season… but, the line is struggling. I know both TCU and Texas have some NFL talent on their front, but those guys are getting whipped in key situations. Last week, Lucas was terrible. Sounded like Orlosky had some struggles yesterday. His opponent reaked havoc all game.

I had to listen to the game on the Texas network… brutal…

2 big reasons yesterday for the beat down: #67 and #57 got their ass whooped all day long on the O line. if they were not getting beat, they were getting chop block, holding, or false start penalties.

I hate when you have to do that, it has become too common since the img deal, I used to be able to listen to WWVA from wheeling, but now no station is in range.

I listened on XM while driving back from Vermont. They only offered the home team radio broadcast.

At times, I have been able to listen to Tony and the Coach as XM has selected the WVU crew for their game coverage.

I have the 1984 PSU game on cassettes, man do I miss Jack and Woody, they were great.

You guys do know that you can listen to the game broadcast on the TuneIn app or website? If you have a smartphone and any sort of net access listen to it on there. It's really easy on bandwidth too. I know IMG's radio affiliates suck. I'm with Dad there as WWVA was the way I heard games, but apparently IMG dropped them or vice versa...

I have called the number IMG has provided in the past to listen to the radio broadcast. Yesterday, I was driving from NE Vermont to Syracuse, so I was listening to XM.

Could not agree more, Im due for a rant and find myself far too often asking WHY Dana?!? when watching the games. Granted I have forgot more about football than Dana knows so I do cut him SOME slack but enough is enough, so here goes,
just a few things:

1. WHY Dana, why do you continue to leave Dreamius Smith on the bench when we need his inside running skills in the red zone where we are struggling in that area of the field? I love Buie, Smallwood, and Garrison out on the edges and catching passes out of the backfield and between the 20's their body type and skill set is great there but Smith (like Shell but he is hurt) needs enough touches to get into a rhythm, his numbers were similar to Noel Divine in his limited action yesterday yet.....the offensive mastermind leaves him on the bench? Why Dana? :noidea:

2. WHY Dana, why do you give up on the team in when there is so much time left vs teams that struggle on offense? Anyone who has watched Texas more than 2 quarters knows that the Longhorns are ok on defense but struggle on offense and special teams. Our defense has developed into a unit that we can rely on, they came out flat against Texas and gave up some points (hey, welcome to the Big12 that happens(his words if memory serves) right?) in the first half and then he appears to go full potato and go for a long FG rather than pinning their 2 weakest phases of the game deep in their own territory for a possible defensive turnover or a 3 and out forced punt giving our offense (that can move quick when they are on) a short field to work with and keep fighting to get back into the game. Why Dana? why do you refuse to give our team a chance to regain some momentum and get on a roll to win the game?
For the record that's happened WAAYYY too many times now in too many games. I guess he just is either A:stupid or B: Has too big of an ego to see what he is doing doesn't work most of the time...WHY Dana?:noidea:

3. WHY Dana, why wont you let the team try n build momentum (along the same lines as above)?
Early in the second half we get into the "scoring zone" down 20+....vs Texas.....who doesn't have a great offense....and rather than go for the high percentage FG to maybe get Trickett and co. SOME confidence...no, go for it, high risk, on the road, failing and keep the momentum and crowd on the side of the Longhorns. WHY Dana? Give us a chance, use some old school philosophy that has worked in the past, your record in November is atrocious so..why not try n win a few?:noidea:

4. WHY Dana, why don't you bench Trickett when it is CLEAR to everyone that he is either A: Hurt or B: Suffering from an extreme loss of confidence?
Kevin White is a fantastic WR and great weapon but its November, we aint fooling anyone anymore, if Trick continues to lock on and throw it to him in double coverage ect..(which he has and I am SURE you have told him to do otherwise) and not look for our other targets then send a message and maybe just maybe spark the offense by sitting him down for a bit, who knows, you don't have a problem doing it elsewhere so, why not at the spot where we need it most? If yesterdays and last weeks Trick is the best QB we have to put on the field then you are failing miserably in the recruiting and coaching area.

Ok, rant over, that's enough,.Ill stop short of calling for his head, we don't need that at this point but I DO want to see sound decisions from our HC and thought we might begin to see it by now but...no.
Until I see some changes I continue to see Dana as a fine OC that happens to be a HC right now. Put him on a staff where a HC can tell him no when he is about to make a move that experience tells you is too risky and he is deadly, leave it to him and....well......Ii think the record is 3-9 after Halloween now since joining the Big12, shake things up a bit eh?
