I disagree, IF Bama were to blow out Miss St and TCU won all their games convincingly and won their conference. State still has to beat Ole Miss as well, and they cold struggle there as well.

Bama still has LSU, State, and Auburn. Aubrn still has GA and Bama. Anything can happen.

No denying all 3 games have multiple games they can lose

It doesn't make a bit of sense. Ole miss has one top 25 wins, and two top 25 losses. LSU has two top 25 wins (including over Ole Miss) and two losses to top 3 teams

That one's a head shaker.

I have no problem with them keeping Ole Miss over some one loss teams, but put LSU at 12 and Ole Miss at 13.

I don't think it'll matter in the end as I don't see Ole Miss winning out without Treadwell.

I think TCU controls their own destiny. At least one, likely two, of Alabama/Auburn/Miss. St. will lose. The fact that the CFP Committee lists "conference championships" as a key indicator, i have a hard time seeing them putting a team that doesn't even win its division (Aurburn, Alabama, or Miss. St) in front of a team that wins its conference with the same exact records. Just my thought. I think that leans a little more toward TCU because they are a more attractive team than KSU is. I think if KSU wins out they deserve to be in the playoff, but will likely need some help.

They also list Head-to-Head as a key indicator, but it didn't play a part with Ole Miss/LSU.

I thought I had things pretty well figured out until I saw that.

Still see 3 SEC TEAMS getting in. The committee has zero checks and balances. The SEC bribery will be hard and steady.

It is more likely the SEC gets in 0 than 3

No way. I think they have pretty good odds to have 3 teams in it.

Much better chance that the SEC winner has 2 losses. Bama or Auburn have to have 2 losses. Dont forget MSU and Bama also play. That would mean lot of other teams need to lose for 3 to get in. There are good odds that FSU finishes unbeaten. Good odds TCU rolls through their s hedule and the same goes for Oregon. MSU will be a favorite in every game they play. What happens then? Does a 2 loss SEC team jump somebody? I don't think it is a given

I don't see there being 3 SEC teams. At most it will be MissSt and either Auburn or Alabama.

Also - what part of "controls their own destiny" do some of you not get?

MissSt - wins out, they are in
FSU - wins out, they are in
Auburn - wins out, they are in? or does the conference championship by TCU push them out?
Oregon - wins out, they are in
Alabama - wins out, they are in
TCU - wins out...and they need Alabama to beat MissST and/or Auburn
KSU - wins out...and they need Alabama to beat MissSt and/or Auburn
MSU - wins out...and needs lots of help

I don't think you are going to hear much from Alabama they just need to win the two weeks and then they will be in the top 4. If they don't win they are done very simple.

This.

I thought the Committee was going to "start from scratch" every week? I thought the previous week was "not going to influence the next week at all." That's what many of you psychos were stating over and over again. You know who you are. C'mon. One team made a jump [AZ State], and one team dropped below a team they should probably have been below anyhow, and that was only because they didn't play that week [MSU].

Where's the "start from scratch?"

Oh, and Baylor, Ohio State, and Nebraska, how do y'all feel being behind a two-loss team whose only good win is Bama at home?

You don't drop unless you lose or some REAL obvious stuff happens. It's been that way forever.

If the Committee does something different, remind me, and I'll eat crow and call myself out for being wrong. But when I am I ever wrong?

Remember when I called ole miss beating Tebow that one year, and I did it in April.

I'm always right. It's tough, but I've gotten used to this burden.

So Michigan State and ND getting jumped don't count for you?
