TCU is done.

Basically confirm that they cannot pass Bama if both teams win out.

They could pass Miss State with a conf championship. We really don't know yet how much weight that carries.

Bama plays Auburn and Miss St. If Bama wins out, Auburn is done, same thing for Miss St. Plenty of games left.

If bama wins out, they'll be 13-1 and the SEC champion, so yeah, they do control their own destiny.

If TCU wins out, they'll jump the loser of the Bama/Auburn game.

Silly poster. TCU controls their destiny. Bama and Auburn play. Both can not win. Loser is out

How does TCU control their destiny? They need both to lose.

You do realize this right?

If Bama loses and Auburn goes 12-1, they're in for sure.

Same goes for Bama.

At least if TCU were ahead of Bama and beat KSU this week, that would have helped big time.

Not impossible but they need help from the other SEC teams to knock off Bama & Auburn

If Bama wins, Awburn is 10-2, same the other way around (10-2 AT BEST)

TCU could jump an 11-1 Miss St depending on how things play out.

Ole Miss down to 11

How do they not fall behind LSU due to the head-to-head?

They've also lost 2 in a row.

They'll likely lose again without Treadwell, so it won't matter down the road, but still. :noidea:

I want to see LSU beat Bama just to see if they still keep LSU behind Ole Miss with almost an identical resume with LSU having the advantage in H2H and better OOC win

There are two guarenteed losses above TCU.

Bama vs Miss State

Knee jerk reactions crack me up.

State is not dropping below TCU if they only lose one game and if the winner of Auburn/Bama runs the table they're not dropping below tcu either.

It doesn't make a bit of sense. Ole miss has one top 25 wins, and two top 25 losses. LSU has two top 25 wins (including over Ole Miss) and two losses to top 3 teams

I think TCU controls their own destiny. At least one, likely two, of Alabama/Auburn/Miss. St. will lose. The fact that the CFP Committee lists "conference championships" as a key indicator, i have a hard time seeing them putting a team that doesn't even win its division (Aurburn, Alabama, or Miss. St) in front of a team that wins its conference with the same exact records. Just my thought. I think that leans a little more toward TCU because they are a more attractive team than KSU is. I think if KSU wins out they deserve to be in the playoff, but will likely need some help.

I disagree, IF Bama were to blow out Miss St and TCU won all their games convincingly and won their conference. State still has to beat Ole Miss as well, and they cold struggle there as well.

Bama still has LSU, State, and Auburn. Aubrn still has GA and Bama. Anything can happen.
