From the AP press release on the game

"I'm embarrassed," Armstrong said. "The way we played, we should have lost. I feel like I failed. We got a win, but we play a team like Wisconsin or Iowa, it's not going to be pretty."

Or maybe Minnesota also.

Well then...When good things happen with this team I hope he excuses himself from the celebration.

Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa are all good enough teams to beat Nebraska with Ameer.

Who posted that thread of Nebraska having a bad time during the last four games for the four loss season?

Ameer is hurt. BAD

Tommy Armstrong hopefully got his bad game of the year out of his system. Maybe he will concentrate on catching the snaps. But a BAD Tommy Armstrong will not help Nebraska in the next three games.

Tim Beck BAD BAD BAD BAD in the first half. 30 MPH gusts and he is throwing the ball. Beck did dial it down in the second half though. Still, Beck seems to never take into account ANY outside influences, stick to the game plan no matter what. Hopefully, the next time there are 30 MPH winds in a game he decides Nebraska should probably run a lot more and screw his brilliantly, cute game plan.

Defensively, played pretty good against an over-matched Purdue team. Very few blitzes.

Huskers have the players. They just don't have the staff to put all of the pieces together, and keep them together.

Ron Brown is probably the only person on this staff to have proven himself in his capacity.

That doesn't mean he could be a head coach though.

You all know that I've thought Beck was a problem for the past 3 seasons.

I still think this.

The bad snaps, the penalties, turnovers, etc etc......all a result of bad preparation and piss poor play calling.

We look like Oregon on drugs.

Ill put this out there, I think its TA that puts Beck in a bad position, not the other way around

TA will be the first QB in forever to lead the Huskers to a conference championship.

I know what you mean. TA needs to execute.

However I think Beck tries to make him something he's not.

A few here have pointed out that TA needs to keep the ball more and I agree. What's the purpose of running a zone read option offense if the QB doesn't keep it on the read option? That's a part of keeping the defense honest.

The only thing I can think of is Bo/Beck are trying too hard to win Ameer the Heisman and defenses know to focus more on the RB.

TM kept the ball on the zone read option far more than TA does. He didn't have a Heisman candidate in the backfield either.

I'm perplexed as to why this offense can't seem to put the pieces together with any consistency.

We can hope that Nebraska's schedule has been weak enough that they're learning some things and can put it together down this tougher stretch.

Tommy sells the option better than TM ever did. Unfortunately he hands it off too much. Like he's afraid to keep it himself.

I mean it doesn't seem to matter what play Beck calls if TA can't execute it, even the snap isn't a given and that's Garrison and Cotton not Beck. The plays called aren't complicated. We're making it way to easy for the worst defense to have a field day on us, more and more often teams don't even bother to cover our WR's wtf

9 games in now and Ive yet to see any improvement whatsoever from our QB, he may say great leader type things in practice but at some point your game day actions need to match up, like right now, but they don't

Seems to me that this snap issue is recent. Like last couple of games. I don't remember so many issues before.
