It's pretty obvious what the message was that Bo gave the team after the game.

All the players had the same message following the locker room talk.

JJM,

Given our track record of playing a team multiple time in the same year (most recent-Wisky&Washington), I would you rather lose last nights game and get another shot at 'em in CCG.
Now we just have to get too the CCG.

Wisky&Washington rolled our azzes when we played them a second time in the same year.

Ya, I think we can get through our schedule, if we don't have anymore key injuries. We are kinda fucked in the injury department right now.

I don't see its a given that msu, or NU for that matter, makes the ccg just yet, osu may give them a run. I understand its available still for either team but they might want to focus on just the next game at this point

Bold statement from the article

"It's not the last time (MSU) is going to see us, I can promise you that," Armstrong said following Saturday's 27-22 loss to MSU. "We plan on going 11-1 and making the Big Ten Championship. We plan on seeing Michigan State again if they make it."

It makes me excited as a fan a little bit.

It's something to look forward to anyways. It would be nice to just see Ameer go off on the right note. Get a chance to redeem himself.

That fucking OLine though.....

Like I said though.........Wisconsin on the road looms. It doesn't matter that they are just average this year.

Wisconsin on the road. That is so scary.

Na, what's scary is our O-line. Now that's scary.

Beck, didn't offer any help to Sterup last night, that kid was getting all sort's of mind fucked. They ran around him like he was standing still.
I think Beck was in over his head last night; it was the first time this year that M.St had their roster of defensive players back.
Beck didn't have a plan "B" when we couldn't run between the tackles. Everybody in the nation new we would have to thrown on 1st. down, except for Tim. I believe he needs to take some of the blame.
Oh, we can get rid of Dobson anytime now.

Not scary to you and I, but to the players......it's terrifying.

Bo has it in their heads. They cannot go on the road and beat a team like Wisconsin, just because of their name. They own us now.

I do believe this is the precursor to laying a big fat egg at Northwestern in two weeks. :dhd:

I just wish players wouldn't talk at all.

I don't really have a problem with the players saying they're planning on going 11-1 though. At least it tells me they are motivated.

Could be.

I think we're gonna roll through our next 3 games though. "Us against the world" mode starts this week.

Let's be real here.

22-27 looks a lot better than the 3-27 that it was going into the 4th quarter before Michigan St let off the gas.

It's like Nebraska's O-Line taking the 2nd half off against Illinois last week.

Big talk the next day about what coulda' been, but if they get an opportunity to play them again, the getting shoved around up front won't change.

Does anybody really believe Illinois would beat Nebraska in a rematch?

Sorry, I was misinterpreting; my bad:L

Wasn't it just 2 short years ago, that the huskers played better on the road than they did in their stadium?

I'm not putting all the blame on the linemen, shit man; they had 9 guy's comin' at 5 to start the game. Their linebackers were cheating up constantly. We didn't have any play's in the book to back them off. Electing to start the game by playing into the wind was a big time mistake, made by who? IDK... but I know who get's blamed for it.

I didn't listen to Big Red Overreaction last night so I'm not sure of the sentiment after this one. I'll tune in to 1620 tomorrow to get a gauge on if it's "Us against the world".

Generally "Us against the world" is a Pelini thing against the fans. I'm not so sure fans were surprised with what they saw last night after the first few minutes. It was more of the same and people don't get upset about it anymore. They get their hopes up and drink the Kool-Aid, but their general attitude is " We expected this. How did I get sucked back in, etc..".

:lol:Trick question...

If we played them tomorrow, they'd kick our injury laden asses. That's how much confidence I have in the asst. coaches.

And Tommy got rattled too. He missed a bunch of swing passes to Ameer. Even Westerkamp dropped a ball that hit him right in the hands. Bo has a tough time preparing this team coming out of the locker room or something. Maybe it's game week prep. :noidea:

Illinois gave up 38 points to Purdue. I think Nebraska would be favored by 7 or so.
