That answered neither question.

It answered how late it's open.

Athletes could also get meals to go, so technically you would just have to stop in there and grab a to go box and save it for later :noidea:

I didn't realize they weren't open on weekends and thought they'd be open later than 7 pm weekdays.

Some of the rules they had were stupid though. One time we got a shipment in of the Gatorade G3's (pictured below) that were the kind they sell at the stores and not the "collegiate formula" and they went to waste because they had too much protein to be considered a drink and would have to count as a "meal" if they gave them out.

They used to have cages full of protein bars and drinks in the Devaney hallways and the kids with small enough hands would just reach through the cage and grab a fuck ton for everyone LOL

Not that I disagree at all that the players should be able to eat as much as they want, but how are they going to police this? I mean what's stopping them from loading their backpacks full of hotpockets en sech and selling them on the skreets?

Exactly.......athletes eat like kings. What is this even about?

They only eat what their scholarships allow and there are restrictions. A lot of them. Like the infamous bagel example where they can give athletes bagels, fruits, and nuts for breakfast, but peanut butter or cream cheese was considered a violation.

I mean you can't push these kids physically and then tell them you are on your own to supplement your food outside of what they allow. Give them the calories they need ffs.

But it's going to go crazy if this rule gets passed. Steak and lobster and every other high end meal you can think of. The battles of the extravagant food options are about to begin.

Football linemen are doing a dance right now.

I'm fine with the kids getting fed but all you can eat food and snacks is BS. These kids will eat all the food on campus, especially the ones that like the weed. I can't wait until so many players show up 30 lbs. overweight.

Anything that results from an actual tangible injury while playing. A torn ACL? Covered for life.

The college should pay for this AFTER said player leaves college? Really?

I will take a different tack

How long until the pampered athletes complain about the quality of their food?

You just know that they will do it.

The students that go to school eat Ramen Noodles, worry about buying books, worry about medical care, worry about paying all the extra "fees" that schools charge, worry about buying season football tickets at $300, but the pampered athlete gets it all given to him.

Not enough those pampered athletes claim!! In the great wisdom of the Ohio State QB, Cardale Jones, "Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play football, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are pointless."

Not only do I need to be pampered, but SHOW ME DA MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
