I've never understood the infatuation with them, though they were a little before my time. I just don't get it.

They got hot when I was about 20. The saying used to be Kiss is for kids. If I was a kid and if I'd never heard of Alice Cooper I might have been attracted to them back then briefly because of the theater of it. But musically I just don't get it and never have.

Not a big fan of Nirvana even though some of their songs are OK. I don't see them as one of the greatest bands of all time like some seem to claim. I prefer Pearl Jam to their stuff.

Rage Against the Machine was another band that I couldn't stand. Had a lot of friends that loved them.

Also, I can't stand anything that is heavy with a lot of noise. I do like Tool and used to listen to Gwar all the time though.

Pretty much anything on pop and country radio today

The Beatles
REM - after "Green"
U2 - after "Joshua Tree"
Bob Dylan
GnR
Frank Zappa
Metallica
Megadeath
Motley Crue
Poison
Ratt
Linken Park
King Crimson

Most of the bands ya'll talk about - Korn, tool, gwar, and the rest of that shit.

Well, that's a start.

the killers...first hit is only worthwhile song of theirs. Enough with the pseudo rock ballads already.

coldplay...every song sounds the same.

dave mathews band....has one band ever stretched a career off of their debut album like them?

1) The Dreadful (Grateful) Dead
2) The Police
3) Steely Dreadful (Dan)
3) Special mention as truly awful: Sting. Michael McDonald

And worst song ever, especially that won a Grammy, "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood, followed by "I will survive" by the Grateful Dead.

System of a Down (don't know how popular they are but I'm listing them anyways)
Tool
In This Moment (not sure if they get a lot of airplay on local rock stations but it seems like the DJ's on Sirius XM Octane love this band)
