I have officially heard it ALL. :L

If Roy Hibbert stays healthy, they win the East this year. Period.

Bet?

Indiana beats Miami if they shutdown/contain Wade & Lebron, defend the 3 ball, and if they're not a turnover machine.

Cowherd's a friggin' front runner. his word is worth what again...?:laugh3:

Not really, he is a lot like me in that he doesn't have allegiances to "teams" but he is not a front runner.

Despite the changing of the tides he still says that IND goes to the finals and loses in 5 or 6 to a Western team. He is just not big on Hibbert.

oh i agree with you about his offense. just talking about Cowherd being any kind of authority...

He is pretty "sharp". Cowherd knows his shit just from a different direction than what fans are usually coming or going from. He honestly is the most rationally minded person I have heard on TMZPN.

I am with you 110% here. MIA has been on cruise control and nursing injuries. They are coming into stride and I think they will have the overall #1 seed. They will 3 peat.

Really? Because I seem to remember San Antonio dropping the Championship last year when it was already in hand. Worry about getting past the Pacers first before you declare them the Champs in February.

if Vogel keeps him in at the end of game 6 i believe they'd've been EC champs LAST season imo...

It was G1....I don't think Indy win game 2 if they won game 1. Hard to imagine Miami ever losing the first 2 home games in a series.

He basically is saying that Hibbert is really overrated and that IND fans should not hinge their title hopes on him.

I have been saying this all along. He is 7'1" giant and he has a jump shot. No reason he should ONLY be getting 11.5 and 7.5 a game. What a waste of giant talent!

Did I crown them? Did I say they wouldn't have to play the games? Did I say every body else should just go home it is over?

No, I made a prediction...

I agree that since Miami has Oden and if he at least plays some minutes, Hibbert will look like he isn't on the court.

Yep, he is a bench player/7th man. Only reason he starts is because he is a giant and plays defense.

"Why is everyone worrying about Hibbert? The guy averages 11 points a game in a league with no centers."

In other words he's saying what I've been saying for the last 2 plus months?

You aren't very smart then. Besides blocks, Hibbert has such an effect on how teams play the Pacers. He forces teams to play outside the paint and when they do go inside they either have to shoot floaters or they get blocked. You don't know squat lol.

And you continue to show your failure in reading comprehension. Who said a word bad about his defense? He is overrated due to his lack of an offensive game. 7'2 and can't give you guys 18 and 11? 11.5 PPG and 7.5 RPG?

Udonis Haslem who is a ROLE PLAYER avg simliar offensive numbers like this for about 6 straight seasons when he used to be a productive role player.

He's rated because of his DEFENSE, not his offense. He isn't overrated. The only thing I may give you is his tall ass should probably be getting a few more boards a game, but when you play with a team full of guys fighting to grab boards, it's only natural to have fewer rebounds. He isn't the only guy going up for them on Indy.

All I know is that overrated player dominated the Heat in the paint in last seasons playoffs. In the end, it really doesn't matter what his stats are for the season, he just needs to show up against the Heat.
