My guy? Christian Jones.....I have a hard-on (not literally) for him like a pit on a poodle.

I doubt he goes first round, and I doubt he makes it to us in the 2nd.

As far as first round guys......I have thrown out names like Donald, Sutton, Ealy, and do like Clinton-Dix. I am not really sold on the ND guys and I have no reason to buy what they are selling, at least not 100%. Would I hope they do well for us if we drafted them? Sure but they are not at the top or middle of my board. Either is the Minnesota guy, he has Poe written all over him. If we get early 2013 Poe....great. If we get 2012 and the remainder of 2013 plus playoff game Poe.....bust

I am not a college guru, but I know the Cowboys needs, I want the best defensive lineman available, wouldn't mind safety but not too keen on picking one in the first round. I would like to give Wilcox a chance with a full off season....

In the first I like Fuller, CB from VT. I know that no one is projecting him that high but I think the guy will be a player...a REAL player. Since we know Jerry is going to trade down, if he could trade down to the mid 20's and get this guy I'd be on cloud 9.
I like the Buccanon kid out of Washington St. Big, hard hitter, looks like a ball hawk, should be there in the 2nd and maybe the 3rd.
I'd like for the Coleman DT kid out of Cal to be there in the 3rd to fill our NT spot. He's a big strong guy with a BIG frame...the fatass kind we need clogging the running lanes.

Donald or Pryor in 1st. Hagemin or kareem martin in the 2nd. Tuitt loked like such a beast before he gained the weight. I still think Matt Johnson is going to be a major factor in this defense if he does not get hurt. Haha is a product of a great defense as claiborne was. Pryor has some ball skills and would make receivers and tight ends pay for entering his territory. Haha is not a great tackler and we don't need him. Now if we are talking about running the same gay scheme as last season. Then Sam and haha fit the bill. You have Carr and Claiborne whom are press corners playing zone? Go back to man coverage or move Carr to safety or release him

I expect Jerrah to trade down which may actually be a great idea. You have a record amont of under classmen and there are several unproven guys that have not developed yet. We need to flood the team with defensive lineman and a couple of safeties. No offense needed in this draft. That Pagan guy from Alabama reminds me of a young Rat. I hope we take him in a later round. If there was ever a draft to improve our horrible defense, this is the one. We need to draft at leaast 4 defensive lineman

I'd rather have Gilbert (??) from OSU than Fuller...I got nothing against him but corner isn't a bigger need than DL/S/LB so if we are going to waste a pick on a corner, you get the best one on the board

Don't know a thing about him, will reserve comment

Yeah in a Tampa 2 I am not really worried about big run stoppers. I want balanced DTs who can stop the run but more importantly rush the passer. Sure we played less and less T2 over the season. But bet your ass that is still the system they want to run.

I like buccanon better than haha. Gilbert looks like a potential stud. Can Gilbert play zone? Carr and Claiborne don't seem to be able to. I earlier mentioned Matt Johnson. I think he can play FS if he ever got on the field.

well we need G T DT DE S OLB and possible WR RB IMHO and how about a guy that can return the punt and kickoff besides Harris. So with all those needs give me the best Player on the board should not have to look far. Would not mind a QB that falls either its past time to groom Romo's replacement

Draft is deep and sweet pick wisely Jerry

Cant agree with you on some of the other things ..... but 100% agree with this

In fact I think this draft is so deep at the positions we need .... I wouldn't be opposed to giving up future picks for an extra 2nd and 3rd rounder

I think we need to trade up to get Gilbert, not worth doing that.

Yup, that is his MO. I don't want to give up picks in this draft, but dropping back and still getting Fuller would be MASSIVE. I'd think he would be there at 30. I'd hate to give up our 2nd or 3rd this year to go get gilbert.

I would to, but jerry is best picking in the top 15.
shoot....if anything I'd trade future picks to get extra picks this draft but I think sitting at #16 is far enough for jerry this season.

A new owner and Sean Peyton would be a great start. We need to get the circus out of town first.

Exactly. Best thing for us is to just make our pick. Less chance to screw it up. If we move because of how the draft flows and it just makes teh msot sense, then so be it. But I get the feeling that Jerry, like many fans here, starts planning his trades months before the draft without even knowing who may or may not be there. The picks don't go according to Kipers list and no one has any clue who will or won't be there.
