People on the CBB board are reasonable, well spoken, knowledgeable, actually follow teams other than their own and can speak to those teams as well. The other board cheers for the SEC.... LOL.

Because we actually have a tourney that lets teams finish it on the court... where in CFB you have to lobby all year long to hopefully make the best bowl game or NCG based on opinion polls.

But we can't have a NCAA CFB tourney... because the kids would miss to much school.

That is because CBB is full of great matchups... and any one game doesn't ruin your season.

In CFB... most teams are lucky to play 3-4 exciting games a year... the rest are yawn fest IMO.

Even NFL teams have stinkers and lose to the browns (see: Patriots, 2012-13). The fact that in CFB it often means they don't get a chance to win the title (and, cmon, what the hell else are we playing for, a good bowl game? gross) is just very stupid to me.

Mainly the part about following other teams. Since college basketball is roughly 3 times the games(once conference tourneys are done) and on everyday of the week you get the opportunity to see everyone. And since 68 teams end up with a "chance". Everyone becomes more rational.

College hoops is just way better to discuss in general though.

I'm new here but have been on other boards over the years none of which measure up to this. Civilized adults discussing a game they love and actually know a little bit about. I haven't been to the CFF board and won't becuz the game is a joke IMO. Besides , When you're a Syracuse fan like me you can't spend much time discussing football.
