does anyone actually think michigan st's resume is even in the same league as auburn's? wins aren't as good, loss to a lesser team

Sorry Auburn very well could be sitting with 4 losses. They won some exciting games but don't mistake a great deal of luck. MSU beat every B1G team by double digits and that includes Overrated Sate University! If it was not for some questionable Pass Interference calls MSU is undefeated today.

I give Bama fans a lot of credit but if Auburn plays Bama again they are favorites. The BCS isn't about the two best teams, it's about who can be justified by record.

Best 1 loss teams in the country starts with Bama, and then we can argue.

I'm still struggling with the way Auburn won over Georgia, Alabama, even Miss St (last 20 seconds). I heard them say Auburn won 4 games in the last 80 seconds. I know an Auburn fan will try to have fun with that and be a smart ass but wow, a team in the NC that could easily have 3 or 4 losses. easily! They won and that counts but seriously? They almost did the same type shit in 2010. They had too of sold their soul to the devil. That's the only answer!

When they announced the 4 team playoff in 2014 season I knew it would help Alabama. Many people said now (after the announcement), Alabama (or SEC), would have to earn it. I swear it's going to help both including multiple teams in given years! It sure would have this year.

Michigan State would be the only viable alternative, not tOSU or Baylor.

OSU lost to MSU, so no.
Baylor didn't play in a conference championship game and got absolutely throttled by Oklahoma State.

If we got waxed by Notre dame, then you got ass raped and curb stomped by Auburn. At the end of the half and at the end of the game, there was several very weak pass interference calls that led to two touchdowns.

Michigan state also still trying to figure out who their starting QB was, maxwell or cook.
