Oh, and the drug taken for GERD isn't Zantac any more, it's been Omeprazole (Prilosec) for a good decade.

The other thing is it depends on how severe the GERD is as to which medicine your physician will have you use. I use Zantac. The problem is that even AFTER hi diagnosis he still stated he was having heart issues. See the problem?

If your doctor is giving you Zantac instead of Prilosec you should sue him for malpractice (unless you are allergic). Zantac is way below the standard of care for this particular condition.

You cannot defend his past because it shows the unprofessionalism of him. You can use what he has done at OSU, but a leopard cannot change is spots. He has done it at all 3 schools. TO state he is completely different than what his past shows is just foolish to me. Will he leave OSU if ND opens up? Not sure, but it is a great possibility considering his past.

prilosec is a long term, daily med. Zantac like you said is for flare ups. Using a PPI "as needed" won't do anything for you, so if you aren't on continuous dosage, Zantac is better.

You 100% did. You're acting like he thought his QB was gone so he had to leave, as if it was his own doing he was offered those obvious promotions. If he left BG to go coach at Otterbein, you'd have a point. He made upward moves every single time. He wasn't in control of when he was offered these promotions. His pattern is no different whatsoever than other coaches who have left positions to go to a better one, you're just singling out Meyer and acting like it's different because you dislike him.

I don't need to defend his past. I do not care about his tenure at Florida. He's been at OSU now for 2 years. The recruiting is phenomenal, the discipline has been fine and we've won 24 of 25 games. There is no "great possibility" that he'd leave to go to ND. First off, he grew up an OSU fan and attended the school. This is where he wants to be. Secondly, that wouldn't be an upward move in any capacity. OSU is more attractive than ND right now, so it wouldn't fit his history of pursuing better opportunities.

That is the thing I do not need an acid production blocker like Prilosec. I only need an acid reducer like Zantac. The severity of the reflux is what dictates the medicine or eve surgery to correct.
