League play starts for Wisconsin tonight @ Northwestern. Shouldn't be a problem but you never know...

Luke Fisher announced he wasn't going to transfer to another B1G school, which I guess is a small victory.

The 4 worst teams could be Mich, Penn, Indiana, and Nebraska. Michigan went from being a favorite to not even making the tournament potentially.

Anything can happen when you're young and play a tough OOC schedule (probably more bad than good). Michigan will get a decent B1G road test at Minny tonight.

Without McGary and consistent PG play, Michigan is limited, however. Sweet 16 at best, this season, is what I'm seeing right now.

I really like this Wisconsin team. Best team under Bo IMO. Can't see any way they aren't a #1 come Selection Sunday.

I'd replace Michigan w/Northwestern. I can't see any scenario in which Northwestern doesn't finish last. The worst 4 teams IMO are Northwestern, Penn State, Nebraska and Purdue. With that said going to Nebraska and Purdue won't be easy for any team outside of Wisconsin, Ohio State and MSU.

Northwestern sure doesn't look like a problem. Badgers already up 18-7 with 7 minutes to go in the first half.

40-14 Wisconsin at the half. Yikes, I knew NU was bad, but I didn't know they were THIS bad.

A) Wisky is good.

B) Northwestern is that bad when compared to the top B1G teams.

I suppose going 7-6 in non-conference play should've been indicative of that. Hell, losing to DePaul should've been indicative of that.

Solid win for Michigan at Minnesota.

I'm really surprised Michigan was able to go into the barn and get a W. The Gophers have been really tough at home and I wondered how Michigan would respond with McGary being out.

I don't count Northwestern as they do not deserve to be in the Big Ten. Michigan really impressed me with a win tonight confronting adversity @ Minn without a key player. I can see them slowly becoming a force as the year progresses as a young program. The Big has to be the deepest conference in basketball currently.

The only thing that surprised me was that Michigan rallied back twice, on the road, and did it with their two best players on the bench (McGary being out in definitely and GR3 leaving early in the 2nd, with what appeared to be some kind of sprain). We definitely need Robinson 100% by 1/18.

Im amped for this game. I think it has all the makings on a super close game. Wisconsin is so tough at home but I really think the Hawks pose some matchup issues for the Badgers. Should be a good one!!! Heres to a good game :suds:

I'm expecting Wisconsin by 5-10 points at home, but there are no easy outs in the Big Ten it seems (well, except maybe Northwestern).

Wisconsin will be favored at least until Feb 1st vs. OSU (and perhaps even in that game, since it's in Madison), but Iowa, Illinois, @Indiana, Michigan, @Minnesota and @Purdue are all games that any team CAN lose.
