I think he has to go (1-3) in the next 4 games to get fired. i.e. (8-4) or better keeps his job.

If injuries continue to mount up, I don't see Bo getting fired in this situation.

I don't really think that is fair comparing a DC and a HC who was a DC. Also Bo has had 2 more seasons and over 20 more games then pencil neck. Maybe Coz vs BO in both their first season here would be a more even comparison

9 is relatively safe
8 is iffy
7 is as good as gone. IMO

I don't think enough boosters are gonna threaten to pull out to make it happen this year.......originally it sounded like there would be. The youth on Defense is becoming a valid excuse now in the eyes of a lot of people.

Then of course you have something happen like that hail mary. While that is all luck, it still puts people in the seats because of the excitement that it generates. Suddenly folks feel like we have this momentum under Pelini out of nowhere all from one huge play.

Pelini will be here next year in my opinion.

I think a bad loss to Michigan or Mich State, then Bo will be gone. Especially if Mich State manages more than 30 points. If the games are competitive and we are within a TD maybe 10 points, he would have a chance to stay. and personally, if he loses to Iowa, he should be gone.

Probably true. Our AD's silence is what's keeping everyone speculating so much, because if he really wanted to keep Bo at this point I would have thought he would have come out in support of him by now. I'm sure there's been plenty of questions asked of him by the media on the subject but he's not commenting at all.

i think he's taking the right approach. He can't come out and support him right now because Bo's team can go from hero to zero every week. If he comes out and supports him and then Bo loses to both Michigans in horrible fashion, he'll look like an idiot because Bo will need to be let go.
