Huskers lose this game

it will be too much fer the coachin staff to handle -- they are way cornfused right now

the kids are the illustration of this unorganized cluster F of a staff

Bad coach against Bad coach.

But Hoke's got a better rushing defense and they are playing in Ann Arbor.

I see it as Stupid Coach vs. Stubborn Coach.

Bo knows how to go undefeated.

He just wants to prove that he can do it his way because we all say it won't work.

Bo coaching football reminds me a lot of my self as a gambler.....

I know that I'm going to lose money by going consistently to the casino......but I keep going back because I'm going to prove to myself or someone else that I can win at that fuckin place. Eventually I'll hit the jackpot and then everyone will be proven wrong.

There is no logic behind it......it's just that I'm stubborn and have a chip on my shoulder

lol Don't apologize pops! If Bo decides to pressure their QB with abandon, runs the ball, and calls VERY safe passing plays, Nebraska has a shot to win. If Bo does what he usually does, Michigan by 21 or more!

I don't know that "Bo knows how to go undefeated".

He never has as a player or coach to my knowledge.

He played for some of the most mediocre Ohio St teams and both of his coaches were fired.

1987 "Earl Bruce' (6-4-1)(4-4) No bowl (NR)
1988 "John Cooper" (4-6-1)(2-5-1) No bowl (NR)
1989 "John Cooper" (8-4)(6-2) Hall of Fame Bowl (#21)
1990 "John Cooper" (7-4-1)(5-2-1) No bowl (NR)

From that point on he rode the shirt-tails of some other successful coaches as a position coach, was Co-D coordinator at Oklahoma that got shellacked by USC (55-19) in their bowl, and was DC at LSU 2005-2007 at LSU where they won a NC in 2007 with two losses.

Being a HC is an entirely different situation and I don't see Bo as a guy who is a good manager at putting all the pieces together. I'm just using his own words when I say his teams don't play as a "unit". For all of the resources he has his teams underachieve and always appear unorganized.

I doubt Bo wins 2 games a year at places like Kansas, Iowa St., Purdue et al.

I should have worded that differently......

Bo knows what he needs to do to win all the games this season. I truely believe he knows when he is pounding a square peg into a round hole. He is just one of those guys who needs to prove that his way works.

"We'll see what they can do when I'm gone."

He is obsessed with trying to show us he knows Defense.

He figures the only way to do that is to go against what the general public feel is best and make it work.

I thought that way back in 2010/2011 and in 2008/2009 regarding his handling of the blackshirts, but now I'm convinced he only knows what he's been taught back as a position coach. He's not a bright fellow and doesn't have management or people skills. He's not an innovator (guru). What he was taught 15 years ago worked with the likes of Dorsey and Suh who are special players that control the line of scrimmage regardless of scheme. He's placed people into positions of responsibility that had zero experience in them. Unproven as innovators in themselves.

Look no further than Michigan St's defense to see what scheming and coachin can do without top knotch talent. They have the ability to put the pieces together.

Bo is in over his head with nobody under him with the ability to to help.

That's not stubborness. That's stupidity. The only way he knows to express himself is in the role of a meat-head.

His anger is at himself. He just projects it upon everybody else.

He's a shell of a man without playing the role of a bloviating meathead. Look at him now that he's been told to tone it down. "Duh, duh, at the end of the day you gotta execute."
He doesn't have the ability to learn, analyze and adjust. Opposing coaches are like Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown.

He can prove himself somewhere else .

nothing worse than a complicated old defensive scheme.

2 high safety with lost linebackers defensive line is exchanging Instagram and Facebook photos . qb had 2 days to throw....

but when we blitz something amazing happens the opponents feel rushed and screw up.

my 2 cents blitz send them at the qb blitz blitz blitz

With Taylor ruled out. Does he still go on the trip? If so does it count against the traveling roster of 70? Anyone know the answers.
