OK, I'll play yer game.

You are a complete and total fucking dumb ass with your assumptions. what you have done is interpret what I've posted into picking one or the other, which I have clearly not.

I have merely pointed out that the loss of CU was not the big deal you want it to be, nor was the loss of Mizoo.

aTm, is a tossup.

Nebbish was the real loss, but as an OU fan, that is to be expected. That was a series of great games, unlike any series CU has ever been involved in, ya know?

CU left the BIG 12. BFD. The loss of CU was and has not not made that much difference, one way or the other in the big picture. You want to think it has, for some misguided reason(s) that have yet to be determined, but it hasn't.

personally, I hope CU succeeds in the PAC, I really do. I have a deep/long history/love for Colorado, and don't have any dislike for the state at all....well, except for all the fucking people who have immigrated there from the west coast, in the past 30 years (probably your time frame) and pretty much screwed da pooch, but I digress.

Oh ya, one more thing, this okie dumbass has forgotten more about the history, not just athletic, of the state of Colorado, than yer dumbass will ever even sniff.

GFYS:yahoo:

and i think its pretty obvious that you are a butt hurt b12 fan trying to downplay the losses of 4 schools all of which were in the top half of the b12 in terms of conference value.

only a total idiot who doesn know how conferences are run would ever trade colorado for TCU. theres a reason why the b12 never added TCU in 1996. if TCU or wvu was anywhere close to as valuable as you try to proclaim, they would of been in the ACC/b12 before the conf. realignment BS began in 2010

We honestly don't want anyone else local in our business anyway.

We covet the fertile grounds and share them with enough jackholes already.

Beat it. We got this.

Not to mention we won't have the peril of the CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME when the playoffs start.

We good.

Cya.

Big 12 appeals to NCAA to give a ten team conference a conference Championship Game

Associated Press |
STILLWATER, Okla. — Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby says the league likely will seek permission from the NCAA to hold a championship game even though it doesn't have the 12 members required under the current rules.
During a visit to Oklahoma State on Wednesday night, Bowlsby told reporters the league “probably will” ask for a waiver from the NCAA to bend the rules. As he has done repeatedly, Bowlsby reiterated the league is comfortable with 10 members. One casualty of the departure of schools leaving the Big 12 as a 10-team league was the conference championship game, which wasn't held last season for the first time since the league was formed.
Bowlsby says he considers it odd that as the NCAA is deregulating it would dictate how conferences crown their champions.

Big 12 wants NCAA to allow conference title game - The Monitor: Texas Tech Red Raiders

In 1995, the remaining eight members of the Big 12 All VOTED for a conference championship game. Matter of fact the vote was 11-1, only Nebraska voted against it.

a CCG with only 10 teams is retarded.
if it's that important, add 2 more teams.

Add CU and Syracuse to Big12 and Asshat John can sleep in his Big 12 footy pajamas hugging his blowup Kordell Stewart doll and all is right in the universe again.

Can't believe he's still jawing about this. Colorado is irrelevant!

Again, more worthless opinion. The only reason Baylor got the nod over TCU when the Big 12 was formed was b/c Baylor had major political clout in the Texas Legislature at the time. Not b/c TCU wasn't valuable or anything like that, simply b/c the governor of Texas at the time was a Baylor alum and Ann Richards made sure BU was going to be a member of the Big 12 over TCU. Again, come with facts, not your worthless opinion.

would you please find one post by me that says anything near to what you are claiming I said, or just quit with yer lying, because that is what it has come down to with you, out and out lying.....

Once more, CU was not that big of a loss, if any, for the BIG 12 and not much of a gain, if any, for the PAC.

You are delusional at best....:L

i applied to CU during the height of conference realignment. i can honestly say i would never have gone to CU had they would of been in the b12. why? because conference represent academic association & alumni bases and id rather be in a california based conference than a texas based conference.

So, by attending a school in Boulder, CO.
You honestly believe you get credit for California school academics??

If you attend Rice in Conference USA, you still attend Rice.
Employers don't care who Rice plays in athletics.

If you attend Florida State, you don't get credit for graduating from Duke.

Vanderbilt grads never suffered a bit when the SEC was less academically inclined.

And trust me (as a proud Longhorn alumni), nobody cares what the academic ranking of Iowa State is when Longhorns grads apply for job.

absolutely not. i just attended a school that was only gonna be more & more west coast based over time. it has nothing to do with cali academics but having alumni pools & familiarity throughout the west.

is it really that hard to understand? do you not understand that people living in alabama know a lot more about ole miss than say arizona state despite the fact that both schools are about the same academically.

another example is oregon vs CSU. (an example ive mentioned already on this thread) sports & conference affiliation are really just a giant advertisement campaign.

its really not that hard to understand dude....

Your conference took in a refugee running away from their two big mean ol' daddies. There wasn't any poaching going on there, don't be delusional. They couldn't hack it in the easiest AQ conference division for many years...please.
