Dishonorable mention to Ohio State for all the reasons cited above. Mainly their fans being the biggest assholes on earth* (since their team really isn't good enough to hate very much). If I could take them seriously they might actually be on the list, but that's pretty much impossible.

5. Navy - if you're a 40+ year old Gamecock fan then you'll know why. They ruined our best national championship shot, back in 1984. We were undefeated at 9-0, ranked #2 behind Nebraska with just 2 games left. Nebraska lost, opening the door to be #1... and we lost to Navy. Naturally, we went on to beat Clemson, so we would have been undefeated, #1 and playing in a bowl for the NC. FUUUUUCK!!
4. Oklahoma - They got lots of hype when I was growing up (just like Michigan, Notre Dame, Southern Cal, Nebraska, etc.) so I never liked them in the first place, but then I went to Texas for grad school and learned to properly hate them.
3. Southern Cal - always overhyped by the media, and actually think they are the "USC" despite the historic facts to the contrary.
2. Notre Dame - believes they are entitled to be their own conference and acts like they're the greatest thing since pussy. Also, as a Satanist I find their religious affiliation offensive.
1. Clemson - I was born to hate them. Born in Athens while parents were at UGA (Dawgs used to have a semi-rivalry with Clemson), then was raised in Columbia on campus when my father got a teaching job at USC. I also went to USC as a student.

1.) USC (living in SoCal during that run was pure hell)
2.) Oregon (so sick and tired of them, their fans, Chip Kelly)
3.) Ohio State (hate Jim Tressel and Urban Meyer)
4.) Florida (Tebow and Meyer and their fans)
5.) LSU (despise everything about them and always will)

Honorable mention: Alabama - and I only list them because Saban is such a dickhead.

1. Bama - Why? you know why, Saban and them kicking our ass in the Natty. Plus its always comes to us two recently for the West.

2. Arky - They always seem to find a way to beat us when they shouldn't have a chance. It's always a toss up when we play them.

3. Florida - I remember the Spurrier years of them running up the score and embarrising us. The Tebow years didn't make that it any better. The Zook years were pretty funny tho.

4. Auburn - When I really started to go to the games and tailgate it was LSU vs Aub for the west every year. It's not as bad since Tubby left but I still hold a lot of hate for the way they were classless with some of their stunts.

5. USC - 2003 and I met a lot of their fans at a wedding a few years ago. I had to walk away from them belittling LSU's traditions and accomplishments.

4. Oregon Ducks - That one game. It will take 2-3 more beat downs of them to clear my memory of it.

If OSU is overrated, then who deserves to be rated above us? Any rational OSU fan knows that we're not the best team in the nation in the BCS era, but we're definitely elite and in the top 3-5 overall. You do also realize we have the largest fanbase in college sports so you're going to see a higher volume of idiots, but we also have tons of trolls. I'd be willing to bet that none of you has actually met a real Buckeye fan off the internet.
