Heat vs Pacers ECF

i pulled in my 401K a few months back so I could manage it myself. And i check that crap everyday and am probably giving myself an ulcer. going to beat Lincoln financial by 2% over 25 years.. and die 20 years earlier from the stress. My 401K is nowhere in the same galaxy as 5.9 million. I guess it's all perspective.. but dang talk about a HUGE risk.

1. Where We Are: It's Game 7. That's really all you need to know. Game 7. The winner goes to the NBA Finals where the Spurs await. The loser heads home with six months to think about what it did wrong. The Pacers mostly cruised in Game 6 at home to force this, and if you review the series, Indiana could say it's played the best in five of the seven games. Game 1 was a giveaway on their part, Game 2 was a strong performance, Game 3 was a no-show by the Pacers, Game 4 another strong performance, Game 5 was the LeBron show and Game 6 was kind of a beatdown. I think if you lived on another planet and this was the first time you'd ever seen these two teams play, your takeaway would be that that LeBron guy is the best player out there and that the Pacers are probably the better overall team.
2. The Big Number(s): 171 and 155. Per Tom Haberstroh, the first number is LeBron's total points in the series, the second is Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade's... combined. Oof. If that doesn't say it all, well, that says it all. Bosh and Wade have only taken seven more combined shots than LeBron has, which means that the Pacers are doing a great job keying on them, LeBron is forcing the issue a bit too much for himself or they aren't right. Or all of the above, maybe.
3. Key Adjustment: LeBron said this recently: "We can state the obvious: They're both struggling ... Chris is struggling with his shot, and hurting his ankle didn't help him. He will find it. It's my job as a leader to keep him motivated, to let him know how important he is to our movement (and) to our chances of returning to the Finals." How do you just simply get Wade going, or get Bosh going? What's there to do at this point that you haven't been doing the previous six games, or before that, the previous 82? Is it possible that they're either a) not healthy or b) simply struggling? LeBron can do a lot of this on his own. He's that good. But Wade, Bosh, or Udonis Haslem or Mario Chalmers has to provide some sort of lift. Does LeBron sacrifice early shots to try and make that happen? Or does he just say forget it and go full on Kobe Mode and shoot 35 times?
4. The Big Story: Game 7's really don't need much build-up. Especially this one. The series has been full of storylines already, but this is probably the biggest hook: If the Heat fail in Game 7 on their own floor, they go from remaining in the conversation as one of the greatest teams of all time, to quite possibly the most disappointing team of all time. This is the same team that won 27 games straight in the regular season, flirted with a real shot at 33, and reeled in 66 wins. This is the team with a four-time MVP and three All-Stars. But if the Pacers take them down, they're now just the good regular season team that couldn't even get to the Finals.
5. The Facts: 8:30 p.m. ET tipoff. There are no injuries or suspensions for Game 7.

honestly.. it was a subtraction error. i tried to split to bets evenly and bet the whole thing on Miami. half at money half at the spread. came up short. lesson learned about my math skills and drinking.

I put some vcash on INDI because of the odds and INDI +7.5 mostly because I'm hoping for a close game because there is nothing better than a close game 7. Hopefully the Heat don't blow the Pacers out. Put like 700 or so on it being over 181 because I think both teams should be able to score in the 90s.
