Heat in 5.

Indiana will have a tough time forcing a game 6 if they lose the first 2 in Miami.

Pretty much the Heat formula for success.

2 best teams made it from the East, but I feel there is a significant gap between 1 and 2.

Heat in 6. Pacers with Hibbert and West pose a bad match up for the Heat, but Lebron is too good to lose against this team

The only thing I'm worry about is rebounding especially the off rebounding.

I think Spo should use Bird & Bosh at the 4 & 5 a lot.

Haslem actually defends West pretty well. In the last game in Miami he absolutely shut down West in the 2nd half

The rebounding is the only reason I picked the Pacers to win 2 games. In the regular season the rebounding edge was 40-29 for the Pacers, and the Heat shot a pretty good percentage.

Indiana will win the rebounding battle but we can't dominated on the glass. If we keep their rebounding edge 5 and under we will be in good shape

everything favors the Heat. it is not in the interest of the nba to allow any other outcome

I want to think this will go 7 but Heat in 5 looks about right. Heat are going to have 1 or 2 blowouts and then the games where the Pacers dont turn it over, the Pacers are going to have to 'out close' the Heat.

Anyways, go Pacers!

If the NBA had any say in the outcome of games the Pacers wouldn't be playing the Heat.

A Knicks/Heat ECF is probably what the league really wanted

I want to pick the Pacers, but I just don't see how I can. I think that Birdman gets played early and gets under Hibbert's skin and he ends up on the bench in foul trouble. Then the rebounding edge is reduced. And you can't survive the turnovers against Miami like you can against New York.
I'm going Miami in 6 (though I hope for Indiana is 6).

It should be Heat in no fewer than 5 games!!

I'm picking Heat in 6!! Two reasons:

The Heat have a tendency to play to their competition at times, which I think, costs them 1 game in this series!!

The Pacers will likely kill them on the boards which will get the Pacers 1 more game!!

I'd like to see Pacers in 4, just because it would reaffirm my belief that even semi-skilled bigs trump athletic wing players in the NBA playoffs, even in "today's" NBA playoffs.

Probably get MIA in 7. LeBron is on another level and I don't trust IND's confidence in themselves.

The Heat are 4 games away from the finals and the Pacers aren't some bad team who got a lucky break to make the ECF. If the Heat lose it won't be because they're playing to the level of the competition.
